This example is a 25% increase in shadows.

There are multiple other percentages and it could be done to your liking. :)

Just an example of doing levels work on dow2 models textures.

As you can see with the colour differences between the Bloodcrusher and the blood letters.

It is basically increasing the shadow in the model and not over saturating highlights, or reducing the over highlighted models.

This fading i see on the DOW2 models has always concerned me with a level of suitable use in DOW system.

I am just one out of over 7 billion, but it looks less professional in my eyes. :P

Levels work can be done in most paint programs. :)

DOw2 reminds me of models I haven't repainted over the past 20 years compared to the model painted in the last decade.
Easiest way around this with 3d models is with ink, with digital models you just use levels work. :P
