Its a good idea, sadly plagued by extortionate prices and subscription fees.
I highly advise against the use of a Swastika, you can get a lot of flak for this, its not being use in historical context either, work on creating a similar logo and It will serve you better..
Head to the Epic Games forums, theres hundreds of tutorials and information, thats helped me loads, I began as a complete novice, learning along the way as I develop my game, Exposure : Indiedb.com
You need to add one of those gladitorial forks.
This looks like it could be some great fun, a suggestion though:
Add co-op against waves of increasing difficulty, would be great to fight side by side with a friend gladitorially.
Very cute, fun idea, good luck with this!
This looks more science fiction than any type of Glock I've seen.
I'd advise highly against using Google sketchup to create assets for your games, its not suitable, as the title suggest, its for concepts and quick ideas, not for an end product.
Not per se, but there will be more to add, decals props etc.
I do need a character modeler yes, not quite sure what your message means however, I kind of lose understanding towards the end, if your offering your services, please message me!
Eventually yes - For now its using Kismet, It will use Unreal Script when the time comes, Kismet is limiting the ability to rotate on the vertical axis and I cant figure out how to do it so, but for the time being, the flashlight is serving its purpose for testing out illumination of other objects and such.
Hi, thanks for the kind words, I think I've chosen UDK over other engines for its ease of use mainly, as well as being able to to achieve good looking visuals with relative ease.
Thanks, some more vids uploaded now, however, they are likely to less common & revealing from now on as I don't want to spoil the story, although you can expect plenty of screenshots!
Yeah, for a friend's RTS mod, which is why is not the fanciest looking!
Yes - #203 will give a lot of influence, expect the game to built upon around that. However, things may be changed, modified or even removed for the benefit of the gameplay and story.
I made It cylinderical to give it a more 'pipe' like feel :)
Add soft edges in the modelling program itself, its far easier.
Ok, thanks for the feedback, It can be changed if neccessary, but I think its fine for now, you rarely see the switch as you carry the flashlight.
Just did a google, looks cool and I guess it will be similar but based on other SCP logs obviously.
It has normal and spec maps, it's just a bad angled picture, a video demonstration would be better.
How do you install this on Maya, no idea where to put the FX files, and no idea how to use them.
Wow, awesome shader, thanks for linking!
So whats this, another Travian/Evony/Tribal Wars clone?
Hey Matt - Thought of an addition to the TV Scares, perhaps some sort of wisp or particle effect which comes out and goes into the player, possessing them, at this point, the player cannot control themselves but can only move their head around and switch the flashlight on and off, you can then make them move to where you want and place them into another scare. :P
Hey, add me on Steam, believe we may share similar skills and Im looking for possible team members/contacts.
WOAH - CHROME OVERLOAD, tone it down and match each assets quality - The body looks melted, the wheels look great, and the gun looks super imposed and low poly.
Ever watched Dr Who? If not, research upon one of the monsters called Weeping Angels, scary as ****, and could work well on this, and teleport you to random parts of the house, you will see what I mean when you look at them.
Just a suggestion, any donations that don't reach the redeeming value of a copy of the game ($30) can count towards it, so if a user can show that he already donated $20, he only has to pay $10 at a later date.
The modelling is okay, but the textures are pretty bad, you could probably get away with just revamping the textures on this.
No, it tells you that it needs heavy optimisation.
