There's still a lot more to come.
As of now I have learned new strategies that have allowed me to add new weapons without ANY coding. I still can't figure out how to do this with vehicles, but it works for weapons fine. As of now there is only the M60 and the M16 but I plan to add a lot more in the near future. All I need to figure out is how to add more weapon classes than the already existing 3. If anyone has any idea on how to do that, please contact me, I really need to do that.
Thank you all,
Frontiergame
This project has a long way to go, its pretty much using the base of UT code which wont get you so far, the fact your copying models and doing no progamming to implement new weapons says this.
I wish you all the best, but you guys have a long long way ahead of producing a playable game. Perhaps 2 years minimum
I don't even know how to program and I'm the only person on the team. I've looked all over the internet for tutorials on how to use programming to add vehicles/weapons but I've never found anything. It's not that I don't want to learn, it's just that I can't find out how to learn it.
Hey, sorry for my very rude comment earlier - Now that i know your situation
Go to Eat3D.com they have Unreal Script Training that can show you the basics as well as more advanced stuff regarding unreal script.
Head to the Epic Games forums, theres hundreds of tutorials and information, thats helped me loads, I began as a complete novice, learning along the way as I develop my game, Exposure : Indiedb.com
this does indeed need a whole lot of more work,
to me it seems more a collection of gathered stuff as a game play video.
but, baby steps first, then a real game.
so, success with it,
