I'd like to start a new production team for a few ideas of mine. I'll say right now that there won't be any money put into the project at the beginning but if BETA testing takes off then I would believe that it would be worth the money along with the effort.
The first idea is for a western (Wild West) shooter. 1st person/3rd person questionable. A nice simple weapon choice - pistol, rifle, scoped rifle, shotgun, dynamite, bow, knife. The first run I'd like to be an offline tester to show how the game would play out if it were online - decent scaled gun fights in old western towns. The towns can have different buildings to go into and shoot from like a bar or an inn with accessible rooftops. Maybe horse-drawn carriages to fight for in sort of a CTF type game or barrels of gunpowder to blow up for a siege type game. Hopefully we can get some donations for a server and get it online.
The second idea is for a zombie survival game. I want to bring back the old school horror aspect of zombies - not the type that use chainsaws or are mutated or anything like that - the type of zombie that moves slowly but comes at you by surprise and you have to beat it over the head with a baseball bat. Like from an old movie I want players to have to choose to stand their ground and go down with a fight or to run and conserve their ammo to live to fight another day. Weapons that you would find laying around like crowbars and baseball bats along with some you might find in a personal collection in someones house like pistols, rifles, and shotguns. Since it will be an offline game the player will have different areas to explore like a village or town, city, country side, and a harbor with safe-houses and vendors scattered in different areas. I guess the point of the game, as I don't have a story line made up or anything, would be to clear out the areas of all the zombies and have a counter to how many remain in the current area.
If you are interested I would need level designers, programmers, and sound effects. Contact me via ModDB, myspace (myspace.com/chaostheorymusicx), or AIM (RollsBalls2)
I've been listening to your music, and I really like it, alot.
On behalf of the Broken Arrow team, we need a few vietnam sounding peices for our mod, and I would like to know if you would be up to it.
