Hey Audiologists,
Thought I would join the audio group to participate in sound effects & music ideas.
I have a lot of Techno-Mix background music that I arranged myself in Mixman & Acid Pro.
I also wrote, recorded, and edited/mix my own two albums with Cakewalk 7. I have used Sonor but they removed an envelope tool that I absolutely loved.
I also recorded all of my own sound effects for my website: Nthered.com
One of my unusual hobbies is keeping track of sounds I want to record.

hey guys/gals names Craig I do most of my work from home I record or create anything from a simple voice recording or modification to recording a full on band or more (whatever feels like a fun thing to do at the time). I have been actively involved in music for over ten years now i write, record, and produce my own music. I can play guitar, bass, drums (I have acoustic, electronic and also work with beat pads/synth), piano and trumpet. Right now some of the programs i am working with is Sonar Producer Edition, Pro Tools LE, Waves Diamond Bundle Production Suite, Fruity Loops. I’m a classically trained musician but I like to incorporate more of a heavy rock/pop with a twist of hip hop influence while composing but I do any feeling and my recording ranges between many genres either combined to create something unique or by them selves to be straight to the point. get at me if you need anything from a music track or just some input.

SUP! im new here, been messing with reason 3.0 for a few years as a hobby...creating tracks for my own personal amusement, but i uploaded a trak on my page...its got a very metal sound...anywho the direct link to the download is here>>> Moddb.com
lemme know what ya think =-)

i still have a long list of gear i need, and ive been practicing on my Ibanez RG... ive allways been a fan of metal...sonic mayhem did a great job on the Quake2 soundtrack...i still find myself listening to it at least once a week...hopefully with time ill gain more experience and turn my hobby into something productive

Thanks for the invite. I've been doing electronic(and other) music for some time, and have a pretty nice personal home recording studio. I use a PC for hard disk recording with Cakewalk Sonar for my DAW. My favorite hardware synth in my studio is a Roland V-Synth, which was one of those love-at-first-sight instruments that took me a few years to afford. I also play guitar, though I'd put my skill level at the lower end of intermediate. I'd love to be able to shred someday, but that's going to take a lot more practice.
Anyway, I hope I don't come off like I'm bragging about my gear. That's not my intention. I just want to give everyone a basic idea of what my hardware is capable of providing. It's been a dream of mine to do sound & music design for computer games someday. I'm currently working on a bachelor's degree in recording technology, and plan to move out to the Seattle area providing I can get a good internship out there when the time comes.
If anyone needs anything done for a project, I'd love to get started on something.
Thanks!
