It says here that nato weapons will be almost a rarity but i believe that you should be able to get one in the black market, they should be expensive and hard to find but anyone with enough money (like rich stalkers or maybe even ex soldiers) should be able to buy one

This looks completly awesome but i have to say something ... While this is not the case, i've seen in some of your weapons textures that the steel parts of it have some weird coloration, ie.: the trail carbine from Fallout NV. Dont get me wrong, it looks good, but is like some sort of unpolished, blue stainless steel

Weird ideas:
"Devil's rain" Something that will add more horror to the survival horror aspect of the game would be some big storm with lot of rain, big, loud thunders, days turning in nights, nights turning in some weird, dangerous dimension, heck maybe having some of the most dangerous creatures in the zone only appearing during these storms, stalkers dying, others disappearing, scary noises in the distance, who knows, i've heard some saying that when a super storm hits the zone, the devil comes to hunt.
Stalker taking cover from the rain .. is somewhat weir to see every stalker just standing in the rain, get dry men, the **** are you doing out there.
Trowing rocks, it would be a nice adition for stealth, something i like to do is to create some noice somewhere so the enemies will probably stand around aiming at that somewhere making the a perfect target
