Description

Known only as Vivec, the charismatic and powerful Coruscanti Mandalorian was first to note that things were going badly for the Mandalorians. When Te Strategos Mand'alor signed the ceasefire treaty with the Empire they had lost so much to, he realized the time for change had come.

Vivec began writing about a series of changes he collected in what was known as the Shock Trooper Codex, secretly he also gathered supporters for these changes who would become the Shock Troopers.

As his Codex was written, more and more of the Imperial Mandalorians grew angered with what he proposed and turned to violence, these skirmishes were purposefully ended in a defeat for the Shock Troopers. When word reached Vivec that Te Strategos Mand'alor had passed away, he and his loyal supporters emerged and the Mandalorian Civil War broke out.

The New Galactic Empire was quick to note that state of defences were lowered and invaded the areas surrounding the Mandalore sector.

Shogun, Dxun, Dathomir and Kuar hold the highest body count of dead Mandalorians during the civil war but they ended with a Shock Trooper victory nevertheless. This victory did not last as the Empire moved in at the weakened worlds.

On Mandalore itself, the battle raged on as long as the war itself and only when the Empire arrived with its fleets did they stop and take note. The Empire lost large portions of their navy but in the end Mandalore was lost and Vivec died in the battle, still defending his Codex.
