I've had UT3 since last year but was pretty disappointed 'cause of it's early squiffiness.

One new p.c., the latest patch and some great mods later, UT3 is definitely worth playing again.

Looks great, can't wait to try it later. :)

Tacomanrules, I tried Fileshack first, but I've a browser add on that has issues with Fileshack's queuing system.

Gave up after a couple of minutes and tried Filefront and I'm downloading FoF right now, it's been downloading at a steady 250+ kB/sec. It'll be done in 10 minutes.

I forgot to say, I'd have no problem downloading/installing a client-side mod at all.. to be honest, I think the idea to provide a server-side only mod would be appreciated by a lot of 2142 players, because generally, if players want to try out a modification, it means grabbing quite a big download file from somewhere.. and then they have to figure out how to configure it properly, which isn't easy for everyone..

Anyway, the people who've developed / are developing the mod further will have the best idea where to go with it next, and if you / they want to expand it's scope and possibilities, I say go for it and good luck too.
Players have to get a client-side download for most other 2142 mods, and I wouldn't think including a client-side download will put anyone off trying yours one bit.

I'm in the U.K., so am five hours ahead of EST, that's cool tho, because I tend to be around at odd times to keep up with some North American friends quite often anyway..

Thanks again for offering to help, meanwhile, I'll just keep on trying to join the server when there are other players on, I'm bound to get lucky sooner or later.. lol

This has to be the most easy to use [in theory] 2142 mod there is, and last week, I dl'd your CBM.pdf, noted the server I.P. and joined, but alas, there were no other players on.
So I haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but I'll be trying again very soon, because even if the mod is only half as good as it sounds in the pdf, it still sounds like it would be great fun!
Are you guys- the group who created the crazy ballistics mod- in a clan or use a particular forum somewhere?
I'm itching to get my teeth into this mod, hope to catch you all for a game on your EMS server soon!
