Frontiers is a conversion of HL2DM that offers the immersive experience of a migrant's journey into Europe from Africa and the Middle East. In carefully remodeled conflict zones and migration hotspots, the players compete in the dangerous struggle of refugees and borderguards. It is a multiplayer game for up to 16 players, where one party, that is mainly unarmed, is trying to either cross a specific area (border) or escape a raid situation. The other party, mostly security and military forces, can use all necessary force to prevent this. Weapons vary depend on the local conflict situation with the guard side always changing identity. After a specific amount of succesfull crossing, the refugees are advancing a step towards Europe. Guards get promoted for the succesfull arrest of refugees, kills are never being rewarded. In some levels, they might lead to a loss of points.

r u serious? how many south americans immigrate to spain? plenty. so its very possible that a spanish policeman has mexican parents. i'd say its more about the accuracy of the UNIFORM, and as your picture points out, its quite accurate ;)

Frontiers, you do realize that Mexico and the indigenous MesoAmerican peoples were colonised in the name of religion by Europeans- mainly Spaniards?

So of course i was talking about the immigration that takes place NOW, at the end of 20th and beginning of 21st century. Which makes sense, because thats what this game is all about. history lessons, yeehaa!

further, we certainly agree that there are hundredthousands of indigenous meso- or southamericans that immigrated to spain in the last 30 years. many of them already have spanish citizenship. which makes them Spanish, i guess we agree on that? And I doubt that there is a spanish law that forbids for those people to become member of the spanish police. (if there is, i'd be interested b.t.w)
So my point is that, even you see them rarely, a spanish borderguard COULD look like that.
if you're sayin that the face of the guard does not look "typically" spanish, your certainly right. we were not perfectly happy with this character, but so far we haven't had the resource to make a new one.
