Ultramarine's right there, or if y'all want it summed up in another way -

Tau Empire - the faction which is made up of the Tau, Kroot and several other races.

Tau - the central and founding race of the Tau Empire.

Although it is true that the next expansion will have necrons, it also has tau and the tau mod hasn't stopped - it's still going strong. It was the same story with the steel legion mod and winter assault.

so why don't you continue like them?

Do you mean in background or in tactics/strategy?

Assuming you mean background, the Daemonhunters are the Ordo Malleus of the Inquisition they're definitely Imperial and are against Chaos (the name says as much).

Well first thing's first - great job! everything looks great and this is the opposite of what some modders try (put Middle-Earth units into Rome: Total War).

Anyway - how about this for a suggestion for a next project for you or anyone else that can use your work for this mod?: putting in a Roman faction in BFME but keeping the Tolkien races. I've always wondered what it would be like to have a people from real world history put against a people from fiction. Yes the Romans have a slight technological gap behind from some races of Middle-Earth like the Gondorians, but they are more than a match for mere Orcs and a legionary from an army as well-trained as the Romans' can match blades with a Gondor Soldier quite well. Even against technologically superior foes the Roman Legions' strong discipline and training can win the day for the Empire.

You people (or any similar modders reading this) have the power to make it happen. I'm only thinking as far a skirmish mod but with time and effort this would make a good campaign: bring the lands of Middle-Earth under the iron fist of the Roman Empire, destroy these rival invaders and the citizens of Middle-Earth in the name of the Dark Lord Sauron or fight for the freedom of the Free Peoples against both of these immensely powerful foes.

Sorry for the long post, tell me your opinion please (I'll understand if you turn this down).

in answer to spartan-048 it's not based on warhammer 40k, it's based on warhammer fantasy battle (you've obiviously never been involved with games workshop).
