So, how far did the port set you back? Did you lose any vital stuff?

If you have the LotR soundtrack, you can always put songs in yourself. That's what I did with Oblivion. I found the folder containing all the songs, and replaced them with some LotR tunes :P

I mean, it's such a massive mod and you have a few years of work before finishing it :) And calling it a mod doesn't really do it any justice, this is an independent game!

But don't ever give up on this, it's without a doubt the BEST mod (game) out there!

A little question... If you are supposed to take Frodo's place as the ringbearer, would you have to be a hobbit? I mean, like, could I create a Gondorian, and still take Frodo's place or would I have to be a hobbit? and If you have to be a hobbit, what happens if you choose another race?

yes I did... I downloaded everything I was supposed to download, extracted it all to the same place, but there wasn't an middleearth.esm file

I have one problem. I downloaded all the files from tesnexus, but when I extracted everything, there is no middleearth.esm file :/

i can't start a campaign! i can watch the intro, but when the loading after it completes, the game crashes to the desktop with no error message or nothing. Reeeeaaally annoying

i've been exploring ALOT, and i have only found one flaw, and that is the distance between where Minas Tirith should be and the Ephel Dúath mountains, the gap between them is way too short;) I´m saying that there should be a longer distance from where Minas Tirith would be and to the river:D But it's an awesome mod, and i can't wait until it's completed:D

hey, you know what would be really useful?? to be able to zoom out on the map, that would really be comfortable:D is their any way to make that possible?

i downloaded it, and i have tried installing the mod very often, but i first got it working a moment ago, and it works fine except a few things.
Like i start in the imperial prison but not in middle earth, and typing "coc hobbiton" doesn't work. But i can go to middle earth through the hobbit hole outside chorrol. And when i get to middle earth it works fine, but the areas always disappear when i go away, like when i'm in the shire and go away, i can see just flat ground ahead of me and the sea, but when i keep going it loads and new areas appear, but when i look back the shire is gone:S can anyone help me?
