It's times like these I wish I had Max Payne 2. I've been waiting for this mod for so long anyway... and I'll damn well convince every person I know with MP2 to get it. :)
Oooh, I love your minigun; sure, it might look like clockwork, but hopefully it'll WORK like clockwork, too! ;)
Much love to oldschool weapons with an oldschool bestial feel. :)
Cheapy, you seem to forget that's one of the main purposes of this site: giving modding teams publicity. :|
Kinda; changing my status isn't exactly my area... :P
Ooooh, nice. Hrm, it crashes when I launch. I so don't know how to launch UT2004 mods properly...
Personally, I love the new layout and colours, but will there be more themes available for those who don't like the colours?
I've changed my long-time avatar (since I first signed up, in fact) to jump on the V3 bandwagon. Maybe it will come back later... ;)
Please don't tell me I'm the only one who thinks the spanner should be moved a couple of pixels to the right, or some other trick employed to kill the Evil Jaggies?
Other than that, if anybody needs me, I'll be respectfully drooling over the new site. Cheers! ;)
Frosty are teh win! :)
Well, the story is that I was considering re-applying for a staff position now that the VCE is over, and was wondering if anybody randomly stumbles across my profile; I guess I have my answer! :P
...then reply. Don't ask; just do it. ;)
It all comes down to a lack of released products. What we really need is a truckload of random dudes playing around doing random things and developing their skills, releasing crazy mods that may or may not survive long. Then, because you haven't devoted even six months to the project yet, it shouldn't deter you from future participation.
Only then should we start getting grand ideas about projects that will take in excess of two years to complete. Start small, bebes; it doesn't hurt to have a really rough product as your first release. :)
This is seks on a bread roll. :|
I hope you realise that there's a high chance of being shut down with game studios the way they are (i.e. threatening to take legal action even though this MOD doesn't clash with any of their games, or plans for games).
Oh well, I guess if that happened you could just change the name to Slugz and make the worms green... :P
Looking better every day... :)
Congrats on the double-dottage; I haven't been around in a while, so I didn't know until now! :o
This is... a really damn good idea; best input system I've heard of yet.
Go baby, go! :)
"Hey...I thought you were a moderator... :o What happened?"
I left the staff; didn't have enough time to dedicate to the site anymore to justify moderator status.
Garry, you sexy beast!
Any plans to migrate Garry's Mod over to the recently released HL2DM source... for you know, handy things like animation and whatnot? ;)
*waits for the day when I'll have enough time to get down to the modding I so want to do*
Mate, hacking is like anal sex; you go in the back door and hope you don't find a log! ;)
This stuff... looks ridiculously sexy!
Keep up the good work, fellas!
Suggestion: Don't get too hung up over the 'incident'; learn what people find offensive, and try not to talk like that too much in the future. I'm sure everyone's pretty much over it by now, so that's just a bit of friendly advice. :)
Oh, and welcome back to modDB ;)
Finally got around to posting in the forums ey? Welcome to the real world! :)
^^ Agreeked :)
If you want to make sure they little people get their say, argue their cases in the forums so people know about them :P
What's the bet that the VERC will outgrow itself yet again with the release of HL2? ;)
Quite an impressive chunk of raw talent there! Since I don't have the original Half-Life, I'll be waiting out for the HL2 version, but I have to say it looks amazing.
Keep up the good work! :)
Very impressed with your continued posting in Cosmos. Too many half-wits for my liking. You're a very patient man. :)
