Is it fine if I run this mod in normal unit scale? Or will that potentially cause issues?

Great mod, I do have one minor suggestion, add an ancillary office for the imperials, basically there is a military governor for every province except cyrodiil (IE military governor of Morrowind). This is one of my favorite mods for MTW2, and my most memorable moment is when I stalemated the Daedra outside kvatch, I lost 2 armies but I held reserves in they city when the came to siege with a weakened army.
Also, the praetorians of the imperial time age are much different then the men who would be in the praetorium (generals tent during the pre Marian period) and these praetorians actually participated in battles.
In this case we are referring to the praetorian guards.
I see why you are confused, triarii, hastatii, princeps are the republican army models before the Marian reforms turned the legions into a professional force, this game is after said reforms. I recommend reading up more on Roman history, it’s quite interesting an subject. In your arguement you are talking about an entire different era of the Roman military machine, when this mod is set during the reign of Aurelius.
Also, princeps, triarii and hastati were not supplied equipment they bought the equipment themselves so your statement about them not having plumes is incorrect, where did you get your sources for this information? I’d be glad to give you accurate and reliable sources of information, I fear what you have is unreliable.
As long as they don’t out stat better Roman troops. Maybe give them a slight stat boost but allow them to have more men. It would make more sense of them trying to overwhelm the Romans and make me think twice before wandering into those pesky regions beyond. Fixing those skirmishers they have would be good. Their lack of training and drilling will make itself up in numbers. Imagine trying to garrison a place you just captured knowing that it will only weaken your force against the barbarians, it makes me shift to a offensive-defensive strategy like the real world Romans.
They will, in the form of auxiliaries and regional recruitment troops, however id be warn you of taking those phalagnites on broken ground.
The troops imaged here aren’t your average rank and file soldier, they appear to be praetorians based off the arc de triomphe wearing what could be a pseudo attic helmet.
Looks good, I like the sea wall.
Unfortunately this is not possible, you can change your companions equipment though. Troop equipment changes in game as far as I know are impossible with vanilla and other mods too.
Roman helmets did have plumes, some did not. There were no standards for tunic colors worn under the armor, so you could dye your tunic any color you could afford.
This is a mount and blade warbamd module and it does not need the Viking conquest dlc nor should it be placed within Viking conquest root, if you download the file, you merely need to extract the folder to your modules directory.
This actually sounds like a great idea for a mod for bannerlord, when it comes out. I love the late empire and I’d like to see a mod portraying it.
I’m so glad this mod may be continued, I’ve been waiting and lo and behold I check and I am not disappointed.
This has potential, I hope it can become more than it is now.
