Notice how it says "You can recruit volunteers again from villages."
You could always recruit them from the elder. The latest patch was apparently supposed to fix that. It's annoying to have to speak to the elder.

I've got the same problem... It's a game-ruiner for me.
We're probably going to have to play the previous version... :/

I think there is something wrong with the latest version...
Whenever I try to access the tactical map in-game(backspace), it pops up, but this weird texture covers the screen behind it so I can't see anything.
It's only this mod that does this.

I asked for a release date for the release date and got yelled at.

How much longer will we have to wait for this amazing mod to be announced? I hate waiting for stuff. Makes me cry MAN TEARS.

Did you select the Perisno Module pack when starting up the game?
