Čest a věčná sláva Republice Československé!
American nickname for first Shermans - Ronsons were American lighters. Shermans earned this nickname among US soldiers for catching fire too often after they were hit.
Every German tank was a Tiger!
...and it kills from 4km! That's why I would rather fight in a Tiger than in a Sherman! :)
Still, if I had to make a choice, I guess that life of Tiger's crew was slightly longer than crews of Shermans or T34s in average.
I am not nazi lover, but they really were technically advanced. But that advance was too expensive.
Well I dare to say that life of IS-2 crew was longer then Panzer III's.
Comparing Tiger to Sherman is joke itself as it's completely different tank, which is in my opinion point of this picture :).
I have different question - would you rather have 1 Tiger or 20 Shermans? :)
I don't know... a fact that Michael Wittmann was killed in his "Tiger" by a "Sherman Firefly" have stroked my confidence in Tiger :) Joke aside, I would definitely chose ze German tank. A pair of well entrenched Tigers with trained crew can surely make a slaughter in opponents lines.
Anyway, "The Allies didn't play fair" is completely unknown line to me. I have never seen such thing on internet or heard it in discussions- only "Allies (Anglo-American forces) kicked the German ***** for a short period of time (other words: Russians done nothing)" or "German army on the Western front consisted of the old men or inexperienced children!".
I guess that playing fair is a complaint about number of enemies (Red Army's strong aspect), or bombing of factories, so they couldn't produce their precious technological miracles.
Regarding this, I heard lots of "If there were more Tiger IIs and Maus tanks...". Yeah, if there were, RAF and Il2 units would have slightly more work. There is no reason to fight such things with tanks.

I found this on WT forum. I have no idea who is author, but it's pretty accurate. At least for many people I meet in WW2 games.
