Are the planets supposed to have crazy amounts of mine-able asteroids? Also, some objects have crazy huge gravity wells. Is this all normal? Are custom maps possible with this mod?

I have the Steam version and it doesn't seem to install correctly...

When installed I try to run the mod and it starts to launch (shows the Red Alert box) but the client never starts up...

Anyone else having issues? Any suggestions?

Yeah I'm currently playing through it, very very impressive. Out of the visual mods I've tried this is by far the best. The texturing is especially well done.

Derp, that was a stupid mistake, my bad.

I did read it by the way... I just misread it. Also didn't look at the file sizes mainly because I just completely overlooked that. sorry to make you all mad bro.

I also have the Steam version of the game and have had problems with this mod.

All I did was download the 5.0.0 version and the 5.4.0 version, I put the Perfected folder from the 5.0.0 version in the Doom 3 directory as the readme says, then I replaced the .pak file with the 5.4.0 version.

When trying to run I get this error:

c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\doom 3\Perfected\script\doom_main.script, line 17: file 'script/proj_utils.script' not found

I have reinstalled the game once and deleted all mod files and redownloaded them and tried again. Still same error.

I am running Winderp 7 64-bit with a Radeon 4870. As such I have also disabled the Catalyst AI as suggested. Problem still persists.
