I don't get what you want to enhance. This seems to be related to mods, not to the engine.

You don't seems to understand what is OpenMW.
That's true. To be able to add features you have to have a good understanding of the code though. That is why the OpenMW team will try to keep the code as easily understandable and hackable as possible.
This is/will be handled by the loader.
They are now supported :)

What do you mean by "other patches" ?
OpenMW is a completely new game engine, not a mod. MGE and such will not work. But since OpenMW is a free software, one could integrate such effects directly into the engine.
We're a free software. Feel free to do it yourself :)
We're building an engine, not assets. This isn't our fault if Morrowind's animations are… well, Morrowind's animations ;)

OpenMW is an engine, not a mod. It will allow modders to add custom animations.
I was heavily disappointed with the movie. As you say there are a lot of beautiful scenes, but the overall feel of the movie was just wrong (too damn epic) and every invented plot point just made that worse. As an example, the part where thorin walks through to fire to azog was so wrong, I wished he just kept it simple and wonderful.
We don't have any greek translators yet, so be more than welcome. Just head over to our forums, introduce yourself, and you can translate all you want!

How did you guys got so popular all of a sudden? I've been playing edain since the beginning of the version 3 series and the amount of popularity this project has gained over the last year is astounding! Or am I having the wrong impression here?

We have a lot of guys who have been using the vanilla editor for years so they know what is important to add. I've heard plans on the forum to be able to load the cell you're working on with the engine . I'm not sure about the in-game editing. But hey, it's open-sourced, so I'm sure somebody will implement it eventually :).
It's the beginning of the custom editor we're making for OpenMW.
This editor is made by modders for modders, we're not trying to mirror the vanilla editor like we do with the engine.
