I keep getting an error that a file in registry/set/registry.reg and when I go to the file folder it isn't there.

This is not directly related to Divide and conquer, but I really need some help. I recently bought the game Medieval 2 Total War with the Kingdoms expansion on Steam and got this mod. I have a really beefy laptop that runs on a gtx 1050 and a 7th gen i7 processor. I went to the visual setting screen and set the settings to auto-detect and applied them. The initial screen and campaign selection look really crisp and clean, but the campaign map looks really poor quality, the battle map is fine, but the unit cards and the settlements look really poor quality. I know this isn't the way the campaign should look as I've checked the screenshots and they don't look anything like my screen. I would greatly appreciate some help.
