This was pretty good. I liked the environment transitions that you made: even though they happened really quickly, they seemed natural.

Pretty good. I liked everything about it. The translation could be a bit better, but it's negligible compared to the quality of the mod itself. Props!

The only problem I had was leaving the building through the window for the first time. I couldn't see that the window was open until I accidentally threw something out of it. Maybe have a cracked window instead of an open one so that we can see the difference between the glass and sky.

You can look up walkthroughs on youtube. That's what I did before I had HL2-Ep2.

I agree with an earlier comment about how the architecture is too blocky. Also, I didn't get any of the scenes so I had to noclip past each part. I also didn't like having to wait for non-voiced scenes to finish, such as the time spent in the infirmary as the combine attacked the base. I had no idea what I was supposed to do because I assumed I had to do something. The zombies in the sewers were strategically placed but I think you should have used the other zombies more instead of just the normal ones.

Edit: OH, BTW, I appreciate the short download.

Why can't we just get rid of this?

If it's not released, do not put it under released. I'm sure I'm not the only person who hates that.

It was pretty good, though really laggy for me. I thought the action was good, and the hoppermine-implanted enemies were a good idea lol. I agree with others about items though: there are much more than necessary. I couldn't load the first map ck_01. It kept crashing on me but I'm not sure why.
I realize that you are not the maker of this mod, but since this is where I downloaded it, I'll post my comment here.

I read the comments ahead of time so I didn't DL it.

Go to this link and download TortiseSVN. Follow the instructions and it's pretty straightforward from there.

Download 7zip. I use it.
It's really useful since it opens most zipped/compressed files (including zip, winrar, other 7zip/7z files, etc). In addition, 7z has a much higher compression ratio than zip files.

I don't know how the rating got so low, but since only 10 people voted I suppose extremities shouldn't be so surprising. I liked the map, though it's extremely difficult to play with other people, particularly trolls and noobs that aren't willing to listen to instructions. (Noobs are acceptable; stupid noobs are not.)

It's a classic map so I gave it a 10.

Ok, so you have a 3.4 rating as of this moment. I decided to give it a chance anyways. I downloaded it: 409 MB. I received a notice AFTER I downloaded it and AFTER I installed it that I need to have HL2DM and CSS. Now, would not it have been so much more convenient to have informed me of such BEFORE I pressed the link to the download page?

I changed the gameinfo.txt so that the gameapp would be 220 and it seemed to work. But whatever I got after that was horrible. It had maps from gmod and hl2, weapons from the normal hl2, and a different main menu. So I've either played a very horrible mod (which I would then give you a 1) or I was unable to play an incorrectly labeled mod (which I would then not rate since I didn't play it).

But for the benefit of doubt, I'll assume I wasn't able to play it. Even so, I hope you're not done with this mod.

Well, I downloaded it, and I like it so far. But the main problem I have right now is that playing a VIP mod is kind of pointless when there's only one person playing. I guess I'll keep the mod and watch for servers every now and then.

Ok, I tried playing it despite the ratings that were posted. I will say that the custom sounds were somewhat freaky, particularly the headcrabs. I'm not really sure why though.
However, one suggestion I have is that you should avoid repetition, even in mods meant to be completely random.
I will say that it made me laugh (in a good way) a bit though. But once again, I didn't finish playing the mod because of repetitive rooms/enemies/etc.

This was one of the best mods I've ever played in respect to the HL2 story line. I don't even know what else to say other than that I gave it a 10.

Oh, and I appreciate the small download size too. =D

I thought the mod was rather interesting, but I think that it would look better if the xen environment were less flat so that the rocks would appear more natural. I can't say much for the tall striped poles/spikes though, since I never really understood the purpose of those in HL1. On the other hand, I liked the interior design of the buildings.

I played it for about 15 min before I started having... self-inflicted? problems. I noticed a box in the top left corner so I tried resizing it, but then that just misaligned everything. After that, I couldn't really play.

I think you should add in other things such as different/unlockable towers or even the ability to spawn some units to patrol certain areas? Having different maps and more types enemies would make it more interesting too. I'm not sure if you already did that though since I wasn't able to play for very long.

I actually played this mod several months ago, but I didn't have a moddb account at that time so I didn't comment. I had only 2 complaints about the mod, which were the shaking during the mind warping hallucinations and the really dark rooms. My reason for not liking the shaking/hallucination was more so because it caused my game to lag, so I turned it off, but I liked the idea as I did panic the first time it happened. XD

The dark rooms made the flashlight almost useless though. Since the dark areas were usually really large, the flashlight wouldn't be able to reflect off of anything aside from the floor or walls (if I happen to be near them). However, it does make the darkness more terrifying.

Since the only 2 complaints I had were more of personal preferences, I gave the mod a 10.

I really liked this mod. I'd say the only real downside was that it was really short. The voice acting was actually very interesting, though some of the lines seemed a bit... cheesy? I'm not sure if that's the right word for the feeling that I'm trying to convey. Nonetheless, it was still good.

On a random note, I was able to enter the library without gathering the parts for the bomb by breaking one of the windows. That being said, I accidentally made the bomb and blew up the doors after already having entered the library. But that wasn't a good or bad thing, just random.
