SC5 includes a way to balance the map based on the amount of players. I'll use it to balance the coop experience, but also to allow the campaign to be played alone.
I chuckled at the bottom right of the hud. Not sure if you thought it through, as if you adda G to OATSE you have a recipe for disaster. Pretty funny though.
holy hell what did I just see
I gave up on this mod. I went through the intro and some of Mars but this is a total disappointment. I explained it all in my review.
With the current licensing, UE4 is superior to Unity on every point. A 20$ investment to have a complete fully featured engine is not much compared to a heavily restricted free Unity version. Unity will have to come up with something extremely competitive very soon if they don't want to lose most of their user base. CryEngine is not much of a good alternative as it's really poorly documented.
I was wondering the same thing.
I'm pretty sure that if you release a free game made with it, you don't have to pay anything (except your sub ofc). It wouldn't make sense considering the current objectives of Epic.
switched to a new code base that works.
Your last news was for MOTY 2012 and it has been radio silence till now. Not making the same mistake twice, sorry. No vote this year.
love the art style.
These maps look all playable or close to complete, why not release them all? I'm sure a lot of people and maybe especially gmod players would love to be able to play and pose on these. Sure it might take a little more time, but it's not about doing it all under a week, you can slowly work on it. Patience is a great thing.
Most of this look massively goofy and honestly not interesting. I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve.
motion blur in a fast paced fps is nooooooooooooooooo no no no no
nicolas cage at 1:25 :D
that first pic tricked me, I thought it was the battlestar galactica one.
why is this ship a copy of the freelancer intro video coalition cruiser?
the file is not available on any mirror :(
you might want to pay attention to where you place the decals in the maps and not place them randomly expecting it to look good. A concrete trapdoor is very likely extremely heavy and unpractical.
I don't think he understood the steam summer sale is a 4000% increase in revenues according to garry.
you can build your game around it and announce it later when it looks like an actual game that left the prototype stage.
He's got a point though, you shouldn't talk money untill you have assets that look decent.
doesn't change the fact that you apparently like to insult everyone and everything all around the place then delete everything when people decide to backfire.
this is what modding teams are for, there has been great projects created that didn't involve a kickstarter and for many it's not really a mod anymore when money is part of the project. (beyond the donation thing).
looks good, nice job.
your engine's name always make me laugh when I see it because werks sounds like an accidental misspell of works, but aside of that nice work for the smoothing groups lightmapping.
you could have done like the legends of aethereus guys, giving a key to those who would request one in the comments via a moddb private message.
a phone call doesn't sound practical at all, and considering moddb is an international community it severely limits your scope as an international phone call can cost a ton depending on where you live.
a phone call? really?
You're a guest, if you don't have a moddb account how is he supposed to send you one?
