This is the second version of my Deus EX Stealth Pistol redesign. After sleeping on it and doing further research in the morning, I realised that there where a number of design problems, mostly involving the magazine and the picatinny rails. As this pistol shares the same ammunition with the standard 10mm pistol, and that 10mm rounds have straight casings, the curved magazine of V1 is a design irregularity so needed to be straightened to accommodate rounds with straight casings. If this weapon used 9mm rounds then the curved magazine would have been fine. I was also unhappy with how the base of the magazine container protruded out from the bottom of the weapon so the transition to a straight mag has fixed this also. Picatinny rails have no bevels so have been straitened to make them accurate to the standard.
Other minor changes include the shortening of the slide as V1's slide seemed too long and would nave to travel too far back to eject the round and collect another from the head of the magazine. Shortening of the slide also allows for a more realistic barrel size as this weapon combines a barrel with a fixed sound suppressor, the tip of the suppressor protrudes out the front of the weapon as just having one mounted internally would make it too short and ineffective when considering a minimum barrel length to provide accuracy and power to the rounds. The slide release has been merged with the pin that's used for disassembly, a feature common in most handguns specifically the Browning m1911 and the Sig Sauer P320.
