I have just discovered Deus EX Revision and have begun playing through it. In doing so I have become inspired to redesign the Stealth Pistol. I find this design interesting as it has a unique layout of the magazine and grip, especially how close the grip is to the muzzle. I have also added my own touch and designs to features of the weapon which didn't seem logical or simply to add my own personal touch. The most prolific would have to be the curve to the magazine and how the handle and the magazine merge together. Secondly would be the slide and spent casing ejection mechanism, both similar to the Desert Eagle. One immediate advantage of using Desert Eagle like functionality would be the static picatinny rails for scope mounting.
Since the original game takes place a number of decades after the events of HR, I have drawn inspirations from the designs of the Zenith 10mm, mostly how the weapon has been shaped as well as material choices which will become apparent if and when this gets made into a colored 2d image and subsequent 3d model.
