hello, thanks for taking the time. Since this i've learned a few more things about the game and it seems that at least some of the problems I was experiencing that day were due to a vanilla bug: the viewport sits a lot higher than the hitbox when crouched. Several low cover obstacles break balance in this way.
As far as the mod is concerned I did get slightly better results reducing the visibility when crouched bonus from 25 to 15% iirc specially for low light and bad weather conditions (i use regular rain and fog). I will be revisiting the mod for testing across more varied scenarios - that was my fault for using a small sample :) cheers.

i've been chugging along on good old wuuts' having manually patched everything and still bearing the odd crash. I almost don't want to try this out. But I will eventually. It just looks too good to be true.

wtf? no, he would try fire his weapon like anyone else. Not default to some retarded scheme where he "searches" for cover and for the player, while i'm already shooting him everywhere the whole time. It's beyond dumb.
Ai are stupid and easy enough as is, without introducing timers, delays, other behaviors when he should just be SHOOTING THE PLAYER

Npc's take unreasonably long to detect you sometimes even while getting shot at unsuppressed. Debug shows the number constantly resetting sometimes just as it reaches the threshold.
Today I started really getting into tweaking this mod to get npcs to behave in a more dangerous manner. I reduced the thresholds, increased the slider in the mod options, and even heavily reduced the bonus you get while crouched as it made me effectively invisible before. I also increased view distance in the vanilla ltx as well as improved low light vision.
In the end I couldn't get the results I wanted. I was still able to snipe whole squads inside 100 meters in broad daylight no suppressor. Uninstalling for now. This mod seems to have great potential but I guess something must be very over or under tuned. I guess it's great as is for stealthing around very easily. But it does not make for engaging fights at all.
anyone know how to increase the distance npcs start camping. its way too low.
also "Now the npcs will use the camper schemes more, even if they are not very far from the player" may I ask why?? the camper scheme basically makes npcs retarded and easy pickings. It should not happen inside 200 meters at all

thanks for this amazing editor! Quick question, you listed hit_power as recoil power for weapons and ammo. Is there a reason for this? is this param not governing damage rather than recoil (or both?)
thank you for this awesome mod, I've only started using it today. And **** whoever mistreated you for asking a normal question, many games and versions hav a different method or path for mods
One thing though, i've set the autohide when healthy to true in the texture version, however its still always there unless I toggle H. Did I miss something? thanks
