Technically, by using their service you are providing them with business. I know that certain payment services get a small percentage of the total purchase, so I imagine the same holds true for those two. I also understand and respect Theon's decision to boycott the companies. I see that they have the Google checkout option available, so I'm wondering why that would be a problem.

I can tell English isn't your first language. I could help edit the dialogue in this game as well as your others if you'd like. I don't know how the dialogue is compiled but if you could send me a script that would be awesome. If not, I'll just play through it and send you the edits. PM me and let me know if you're interested in this.

Something has got to be done about the song. The chords in the harmony consist of the same interval the entire time. There needs to be at least some harmonic variety. Actually, there appears to be some in the middle of the song. A few chords, at least. I think one of the problems is that the synth sounds are extremely poor. Excepting of course the very final bell sounds. Other than that, this game looks pretty awesome.

MirzaGhalib Nov 6 2010, 1:06pm replied:

Blackmodeler is correct. Most of what you probably think is parkour is actually freerunning. There is a very strong distinction between the two philosophies, in fact. Parkour, for instance, at it's true core values is completely devoid of the flipping and gymnastics that you see in freerunning. This is because the gymnastics are a monumental waste of energy. In parkour efficiency is one of the most important things to keep in mind. Climbing is definitely an important facet of parkour. In fact, something as ordinary as swimming is also a facet of parkour. Conside this situation: A river stands between you and your destination, but there is a bridge five kilometers to the east. Parkour would have you dive into the river and swim to the other bank rather than wasting time and energy walking five kilometers to the bridge. If you had a long bamboo pole with which you might vault, if not from one bank to the other, then from one bank to the middle of the river, that too would be considered parkour. Freerunning, on the other hand, is more about style and less about the efficiency of movement. It's frustrating to see these two terms used interchangeably because that philosophy of parkour is completely lost. And it's really the philosophy of parkour that makes it an incredibly important exercise.

I'm not seeing which figures represent what. That's also pretty terrible math, by the way. Where is sleep figured in? And studying? Judging by your math skills I assume that there is no time for studying, which means that it's essential that others should include it, otherwise they'll end up with math as bad as yours. Let's do this a little bit more logically, shall we? When I was in high school we had class from 7:00 until 3:15, so that's 8.25 hours. You work out 2 hours a day. You should probably study at least 2. Let's say you hang out with your girlfriend 2 hours a day. And then you have to sleep 8 hours. That looks like 22.25 hours to me. I'm pretty sure you'd waste the other hour and forty-five minutes eating and ********.

I totally agree. Why would anyone take such an amazing piece and smear it with the dung of moronic pop music? It doesn't even make sense with all of that putrid bass muting everything good about the song and by completely ignoring the musical progression of the original almost everything meaningful about the song is utterly destroyed. But great mod.

In your first sentence of the description you wrote, "This are my latest screenshots, as you see I changed the light."

Since you are referring to a plural entity (screenshots), your pronoun would be "These" instead of "This." Remember, "This" is used when you are referring to a singular entity. "These" is used when referring to plural entities. Example: This bottle. This jacket. This watch. These bottles. These jackets. These watches. I hope that helps for your English exam. Everything else is good. And I think the lighting effects are pretty good. I don't know much about lighting though haha. I wish I had Crysis so that I could play this when it's released!

I just watched the video again in HD and now I can totally see the difference in the icons. Sorry about that! I think the minimalism works wonderfully in this game. One thing that you absolutely must have is good music though for this game. For the style and the type of game, getting good involving music is almost as important as solid programming. Sound effects are just as important, but from your video it appears that you already know that since all of the sound effects are extremely crisp.

Oh. Sorry man, I just accidentally gave you negative karma for this post! I'll offset it by giving you positive karma on other posts. Great work.

I really like how you've turned such a simple-looking design into something so entertaining. Some of it looks a little too simple though with the obvious exception being the bit near the end where the screen appears to be almost entirely littered with different structures. I also was wondering if there would be a way to tell which bonus does what. I couldn't tell from the video if they had separate animations or icons. I think that that would be something somewhat necessary since it would be very frustrating if every one of them were superstructure bonuses. Although I suppose that would make the game more difficult and require the player to think before picking up a bonus. Anyway, this game looks very promising and I can't wait to try it out. Oh! I should also mention that your colors and style are very aesthetically pleasing.
