Weclome to another Scud Storm blog, sorry we haven't updated our page in awhile, but we have been producing blogs and we thought you'd like to see what we have been doing recently!
China Airstrip
Gradenko has been hard at work again producing the Chinese Airstrip.
Here you will be able to purchase MiG Aircraft and Helix Helicopters. The survival of this structure is essential for the commander to purchase upgrades based on aircraft.
China Power Plant
The Chinese Power Plant is essential for base defences to stay online. The destruction of this building will have consequences for the team; however what those may be we are uncertain about, so we want to hear suggestions from you. Modelled by Gradenko.
China Speaker Tower
This Speaker Tower is particularity helpful to the Chinese when defending, inspiring units which thus keeps them regenerating over time.
Supply Drop Zone
DieHardNL has been busy modelling and texturing the Supply Drop Zone which E! has been rigging.
These zones are in relative damage stages from 0-100%
USA Barracks
The USA Barracks is the key to infantry. If this is destroyed higher class infantry can't be purchased. Modelled by Gradenko.
Civilian Buildings
E! has developed a way for us to make good use of civilian buildings. Each building is assigned a script which allows Level Edit users to specify how many people they want to allow entering it.
In the future there will be a function where the original building model will be replaced with a more "military" makeover.
Aircraft Physics
By far, the most important update to SCUD Storm to date, we all know from the previous version of SCUD Storm that the planes were awkward and highly unrealistic, being able to stop in mid-air and even reverse. E! however has fixed this, more work needs to be done to get it perfect but the tests so far are really encouraging.

wow... when I first downloaded this I thought "What utter crap... Why is the M16 5 feet long??? etc" But after seeing the hard work you guys have put in (and proper aircraft) I may very well try this again when it is next released...
omg the flying is so unrealistic u can stop in mid air and go backwards i was hoping for planes like on generals :D hope next vers is better and i cant seem to buy GLA vehs maybe u cant well good luck on making next vers ill be waiting

i posted this bef4 i saw the vids and is there going to be any GLA characters jamen kell would be good
well the released version is pretty much outdated. just take a look on the images and videos here. you're not able to stop planes in mid air or fly them backwards in our current version but this is only an internal beta. we got no public release planned right now.
u dont need any ren files to run this game i put it in a seperate folder but u need cnc ren to play online games like a path beyond and this
so what happen if I play this game without installing the C&C Ren?
havent tried lol i have ren but i did install it in a dif folder to ren and it works without use of ren files

and is there any campaign for this game or skirmish?
dont try singles player u will fk up the game also to get this to work u need to rund direct x runtime or it will say u need bettter vers of direct x and some comps as a friend of mine tried it says missing shaders.dll which is unfixable
