alas a common problem with sins of a solar empire especially Rebellion is that once you apply a mod (any mod) the ingame tutorials no longer work (infact they crash the game altogether). primarily this is because its calling on assetts that that are no longer in the game (or mod). since the tutorials are hard coded we cannot modify them but simply remove them and put a notification in game saying they dont work. however the vanilla game (with no mods) will let you run the tutorials to learn how to play the stock game.

thats good and thanks we do like to think of ourselves as good guys :) you can apprieciate why i posted though as it was a tad confusing, (the joys of text mis-communication.. been around on the net since ....well always hehehehe)

I can assure you the STA3 dev team accept their placement with grace and dignity, (would have been nice to win i dont deny that..but life goes on).

As Bane has stated if there are legit bugs please voice them in the bug reprts forum so we get wind of them and please all remember this is an unofficial install so alot of virus and spam programs are gonna think it may be something ilicite.. believe me it isnt but thats the reason we have a zip version also incase ppl have difficulties with the installer etc.. please keep it in mind everyone if you would (certainly would make me a happy bunny hehehe :) .. ) nontheless persevere and enjoy CTA all and thankyou all of you for every feed back and download

the only reason any of the files get corrupted via download is because of AV programs or blockers and shear lag from the numbers.. the only reason for ANYone crashing after 5 mins is the lack of LAA being implemented..

the only real issues are those actually in game now being collated for the hot fix by the team).. any other issues have been addressed in this comment list and by a video by Gul Dukat himself above..

i appologise if i seem snappy but a comment i read a moment ago saying "it doesnt work"£ kinda irritated me as they person has not look through everything thats available on here and it kinda peeved me a bit as the statement ws rather rash of them!

and for the record i tested the installer and zip i made on both those old rigs and they ran fine.

i have both an AMD x2 rig with 4 gig.. with an nvidia gtx 630

i also have a hp pavilion Dv65000 laptop..

both are not exactly top of the range rigs and the laptop cant even run STO.. but it runs STA3:CTA nicely (as long as its on lowest settings. so with all fairness unless the ppls rigs are so far back that they are antient i really dont see that as being the issue. sorry Jonsin m8

and this is why alot of independent publishers hate antivirus programs etc cos they flag EVERYTHING! even legit installers that have been tested and cleaned to make sure they are fit for public download safely.. GOD DAMM AV Programs :| they're a double edged sword mostly.

me thinks someone nees to see the installer video above! before making a statement like "IT DOESNT WORK!" just saying for that Tomak333 fella. there is plenty of help here a minimalist attitude simply makes most of the ppl not want to help solve the issue you are having as Schuchart asked Can you state any more information?

i figured what the hell if its a free track and losses who the hells gonna complain.. plus its a win win for me cos ppl check out my discography also :) even if they dont buy em that for me is enough just to have ppl enjoy the peices

More to come about the project soon but lets just say this your all not gonna be dissapointed with what we tell you is going on with it :)

Call to arms build has NO affect on v1.0 the only andi mean ONLY file that would caus an issue is if you didnt copy the new enabled mods text file correctly.

1.0 can still be run without issues and doesnt need to be deleted as the new version is in a seperate folder the only common factor is the enablemods.txt

this was done on purpose so ppl with 1.0 save gamescan finish playing them as saves doent carry over to CTA from 1.0 so we kept that in mind for all of you playing the 1.0 version

its 3gigs of new content compressed to 1.4gigs (roughly)

be patient :)

let me guess the installer pauses for you mid way and it looks like its crashed?

just let it run your rig is probably like mine a little slow and cluttered.. trust me its decompressing over 3 gigs of stuff from a 1.3gig exe sometimes it can be slow on older pc's. but i know for a fact this installer isnt broken as i made it and double checked it on 3 seperate pc builds of various specifications.. try the zip version if all else fails though (oh btw if the installer gives you a crash error on completion.. ignore it thats just windows being a fallic symbol.. trust me it installed

getting him to do a news article today is impossible ( i tried) so you'd be hard pressed for a video :) besides the mod installs the sam way via the installer as 1.0 the only difference is you wont need to change the mod folder name since this version is built on v1.82)

im glad you enjoyed the full trailer music its actually part of my newest album im working on.. amongst the featured tracks on that will be the movie medley and my recreation of the justice league theme to name but two. seperate projets of course but im glad yo enjoyed that :)

-Mindwipe mixed with blaster beams to give it more of a borg feel at the end in fairness though its a combination of 4 totally seprerate tracks using the worf gowron battle as a base backing.. im quite proud of how it turned out

it makes santa and the undertaker look like barney the dinosaur :)
