don't get me wrong I like the challenge of the black road but hardly seeing the full splendor of the awesome textures is kind of dissapointing......

you sound very tough, but I don't care for boasting, dealing with 10 dogs on your own while cornered\surrounded is imposible unless you cheat and changed ammo loading time and set hitpower on 1000+ !!, guess what, you can kill the dogs in one shot only when hitting in their head and in that givin situation thats almost impossible

on the other hand, if gettin rid of the dogs prior to the chimera hunt is the solution, I wil go for that

sorry, this mod is awesome in many ways but the Zaton Chimera Hunt is a fail, c'mon dev's 10 dogs ! attack the gamer , total chaos and while the dogs surround you the other hunters start shootin at you, there is no way out unless you run for the hills which makes the gamer a coward and the job is automaticaly a fail, you might aswell delete the whole scripted side quest cause the chimera disappears,

to play Misery on a fresh install of CoP.
I'm a diehard stalker gamer so like a lot
of you I use all kinds of tweaks to enhance
the game/engine [bin,user.ltx,XrRender and a
lot more..] so I gave it a try.

Gues what, afther hours of playing I'm in Jupiter
and apart from some minor bugs the mod has no
errors or ctd's at all ! it plays like a dream

I'm not suggesting that the mod is free of errors
but maybe its good to reinstall the game and play
the mod on the fresh install.
It did the trick for me, Good luck

In the beginning I had crashes because of the wrong SHOC version it needs v1.004,
next to that your bin file should be clean and if it all works than you could make changes into your bin. such as no_CD exe, FoV changing , grass Distance ectr...
Another thing that comes to my mind is that changing from a higher version to v1.004 doesn't garantee a clean bin, remember its an overwrite on existing files while files that don't belong in v1.004 stil remain in your bin

annoying bug : sometimes I cann't throw or equip a grenade and ai grenades don't explode at all.

and the night and day bug persists...and yes I installed the hotfix

don't know if its a bug but the changing of day and night doesn't work, at 12hr high noon the sun is still at the horizon and it remains dark

also noticed that ai thrown grenades have a long delay before they explode

found a bug ,upgraded the AKM-74/2 to fit a scope but as soon you point at the gun in the inventory screen the game FREEZESS

Sounds, awesome!, for the first time all the guns sound asif theyre fired right in front of you ! silencers included.

Graphics 10+, and thats not only for the ingame environment but also the detail in menu's and info on your mod site aswell,it oozes Quality .somehow have the feeling that in real life youre a professional artist or something related to that.

Difficulty Zaton is realy good! The only flaw I found was that I already could buy a THERMAL SCOPE, think it
should be traded only in Jupiter.

Difficulty in Jupiter...sry should be more difficult than Zaton, because the player already has good\upgraded equipement,
enough food\meds and supply, found myself scrounging and end up with extra 9 medkits in the first 15 minutes, don't
get me wrong I feel good with a lot medkits but the thrilling tension I had in Zaton is missing, the mod doesn't feel that
difficult anymore...

my suggestion would be :less stashes, less Trader content, NPC's harder to kill[ leaders should be masters],a bit
more mutants and maybe anomalies are more radioactive\dangerous in compare with Zaton.

Believe me, I played a lot of difficult mods but in Jupiter they all lacked to proceed the trilling tension of Zaton when
playing the early stages of the game, sofar the only difficult mod that kept that tension troughout the whole game was in my view
"Redux Clear Sky"

pls don't think I'm raiding your mod ,these are just suggestions in an attempt to perfect the mods difficulty, and lets face it.. you decide.
I repeat this mod is awesome and can be placed among the best it gives me realy great pleasure to play it.

I realise that when we are talking about realism, then discussion would be endless.
when we are talking about difficulties for the wrong reasons then discussion is also endless,

Example: , when looting a fallin' soldier/enemy in Vietnam war you wil probably find a fare
amount of ammo and stuff but looting a corpse in the time of the gold diggers in America
it would be less plus it would probably be coroded and useles,
So playing a mod is also submitting yourself to the gameplay and difficulties the maker intended,
and I'm not talking about difficulties that are unplayable cos sofar there is always a solution in
this mod but you must be willing to look for that and if it means completely changing tactics, then
yes
When I played this mod for the first time I thought this is insane!no medkits no ammo no decent
protection, W.T.F###k is this mod?!! Beacon youre a peace of #####...then I realised I had to
rethink my tactics/skills and pull myself out of the COMFORT ZONE I was then playin the vanilla game.

So if youre not willing to submit yourself to the mod then you have the choice to delete it and use
a mod that suits you, and believe me m8 there is nothing wrong with that, I do this all the time but
I'm not going to complain about it until I face a difficulty with no solution or crashes.
