laptop in question is my old dell d620 :P little beast served me well for learning to mod dx, but it is 2 pc's old for me. last pc i bought was a HP off the shelf box, cheap, but rubbish. now i've got a new pc, custom built. i was using ubuntu/custom linux builds for many years, but i can't figure out how to get dx to run on it. so now i'm back to microsoft windows :(. havn't got any mac except original candy blue coloured imac, works okay, but i never figured out how to use os. also g-mac? tower, doesn't work, i got them off ebay because they looked cool :P

Description

Laptop, medium sized lcd monitors, and keyboards too. basically i felt that TNM made some really nice models that definitely removed the 'empty world' feel that vanilla dx sadly had, but i didn't feel comfortable scabbing those since they are actually very simple models, so i made my own, with custom textures too :D only now i need to go look at the TNM deco code and copy that because i can't get my monitors to turn on/switch texture when i frob them. i made 8 variants of lcd monitor, standard resolution and widescreen, these look a little big for this desk, but hey that's why i was testing them. laptop is cool too, for just 96polys!!! :D same thing with screen tex tho, got to fix that. 2 keyboards just to jazz up a workstation @ just 40polys each. tried to make a mouse, but it looked terrible :( been awhile since i was 'into' computers so i'm not really sure what goes on the average desk these days (lol sound like an old man) i might try a few other simple things to add variety.

been making textures recently and working on my map; probably now about 85% of brushwork finished, need to tweak lighting, re-texture, add decos, fix the outdoor bot pathing :O and then get some nice helpful dx denizens to test it for me. might try to add some sshots this week, got some cool things that need some helpful critique
