Hey, are there plans on releasing a patch with those updated dreadnaught and other unit textures soon? Or will it all be released at once with the next big update? Also aside from the new textures of ships you have posted here like the dreadnaught and the Endurance, will the Carrack also be updated too? Is there a list of ships that you guys are prioritizing so we know what to get hyped for?

Maybe but I feel like a KOTOR era mod would be better. I know they already exist but they are not that good and I feel like if the Thrawn's Revenge team decided to do it in the distant future, it would be a huge success.

The problem is that there aren't any big factions going up against the Empire during that time. I mean, yeah there is the Rebellion but that is toward the later part of the timeline and they don't often engage in open warfare with the Empire. Usually just hit and run tactics. So lore-wise it wouldn't make much since to make a mod during that time period.

I was thinking maybe a KOTOR era mod set between the old Exar Kun War and events shortly after KOTOR 2. You have the Sith, The Mandalorians and the Republic so it can work.

Space battles and everything associated with it takes priority over ground stuff since space battles always were the best part of the game. I am sure they will update the models for ground units in time. I mean, the dreadnought is only now getting a new model since 2006 so yeah, things take time. They are trying to make sure the game works ok first and foremost with visuals being a secondary concern but new models for ground units will come. It's just a matter of when. I want them to fix Kyle Katarn because he has no force powers, only sprint and his lightsaber strikes are really slow so it takes him forever to kill baddies. But I still got Luke so it's cool.

Not a complaint to the modders because you guys are just trying to keep everything as lore accurate as possible. This is just a criticism of the design but the Nebula is damn near perfect. I see little or no flaws with that ship. The endurance would be the perfect carrier too if not for the one thing most star destroyers have which is these superstructures that stick out like a sore thumb. Now I don't know the full lore of the endurance but is that big thing really necessary?

So it seems Brakiss cant use his force push. I haven't tested his force grip yet though.

Also why is it when the era changes that heroes that never died or that have no obvious reason for leaving would disappear? I mean I get Issard would buzz off when Thrawn came into town but why everyone else too? Even the less narratively important heroes? Is it because maybe having too many would be overpowered? If so then that makes sense.

Also, will TIE avengers ever be added or the Starwing. I cant remember if I ever got an answer for the latter.

In your opinion, what is the best imperial ship smaller than a star destroyer? I personally like the Victory variants but I'd like to know your opinion. Maybe there is something I can learn from it the next time I play on the imp side.

Again I ask, will characters, ships, units etc from Jedi Outcast ever be added to the game? Because it does take place after ROTJ. I would just love to see desann and his shadowtroopers and reborn troops in the game. I feel like the Imps don't have a whole lot of force users in any given era while there are so many jedi characters for the NR.

It happened after winning the battle to get the Katana fleet. I thought it was a bug with that particular mission but maybe its something else.

Are there any other Corvette types used by the New Republic? The CR-90 must have been phased out by something better at some point right? This is not really a mod question but a Star Wars question.

I was wondering if certain ships or what-not featured in other games that were technically part of Legends canon will be added. Like for example the Starwing Assault Gunboat. It's my favorite imperial fighter/bomber so I'm curious if that ever has a chance to be in the mod.

Ok so in the demo, infantry units were very different. There were different types in a single group and you can click and give orders to each one separately. But in 2.2 that's no longer the case and now it looks alot like Vanilla EAW. So what gives? I liked the other way.

I think the hd remake places too much emphasis on visuals whereas this mod seeks to improve the game overall. Plus EAW Remake doesn't touch ground combat which is a big negative in my opinion. I don't need the game to look totally realistic. The graphics provided to us in this mod are more than sufficient and don't put such a big strain on my hardware.

Fractalsponge made a good model of the dreadnaught though. I think the Thrawn's Revenge team could use that look for a future update. The Carrack isn't too bad. I cant wait for the Raider though, now that's a cool ship, not sure about the weird TIE-fighter like wings though but it's still cooler than the Lancer.

Are there other New Republic/Alliance era support ships (Frigates, cruisers etc.) that will be added at some point. NR ships seem to be lacking compared to ships from other factions. They also seem to have more variety compared to the NR.

All the space units are bright green. I am usually able to fix that by deleting the shaders folder but for some reason it isn't working for this mod. what can I do?

Thank you for answering my question regarding criminal factions. I seem to be full of questions so I'm sorry if I come off as annoying. My question now is about the possibility of introducing GC or story campaigns that take place from the start of the Empire to the Battle of Endor? I ask because I know you have plans for a Republic era mod. Was that something that ever came up for a possible update in the near or far future?

If it is or isn't is totally fine of course but it was just something that I was curious about.

Are there plans to add a criminal faction to the mod? I mean there's the Hutts, Black Sun and the Zann Consotium. I cant remember what their status because after Endor but if there are any criminal factions that were really active after that time, will you be adding them in as a playable faction? Also, I forget but were the mandalorians still around after Endor? I mean besides Boba Fett.

What about the Starwing Assault Gunboat? Any plans to implement that into the game? If just in limited amounts? I am not as brushed up on all things EU as I would like so that's why I ask if it would fit anywhere in the mod.

Attack from behind the Viscount with smaller and faster ships. You can avoid all fire from the ship that way and start knocking out hardpoints, starting with the engines and working your way up. It's not that difficult. Strike Cruisers are a good bet.
