I've heard of people having problems with steam installing it, but I wouldn't know how to solve that problem because I don't use it. Anybody know how to install it to a STEAM version?

Use WinRar to open the file. Double click the installer and be patient it will download for you. It will stay on 80% for a few minutes but will eventually finish installing the mod.

Yeah they do look better in game. The videos of the nukes often are low quality and laggy so you don't get the full experience. Thanks.

Try reinstalling wic and the mod.

Hey Jake, it gets stuck on 80% for 5 minutes or so then finishes loading the mod. Just be real patient while it's loading and wait for a few minutes when it seems like it's stuck at 80%.

The Choppers need to fly higher. They're so easy to get shot down...Plus, you pretty much have to stick to flying the whole time with a partner with a mic and pick out the correct upgrades...like V-alt-fire for gunner and V-alt-fire for pilot. The long range vision can work for the gunner and also so armor for the pilot wouldn't hurt...but like I said it's way too easy to get shot down with that puny flight ceiling.

Looks like you got it installed, I'm glad. If you like this mod, I'm putting another mod out soon called Operation Dark Storm, which will be a joint project. I'm also going to do a joint project with the creator of Modern Warfare mod sometime after ODS. Thanks for posting and I hope you guys enjoy the mod. Also, for those having problems installing, remember that that installer gets hung up on 80% for a few minutes but it will eventually finish if you let it.

I just stopped doing updates dude. I'll have to redownload the mod here, for some reason the file got corrupted on ModDB's end. You can still get the mod if you run a google search and look.

Guys install the most current wic patches before you install the mod, that's most people's problem here.

Are you running Vista or XP? If you already said XP then that directory is correct and the mod should show up in the options section. If you have more problems go to www.massgate.net and post a question about this in the modding forum. I or someone else can get back to you quicker and provide assistance to you in a timely manner.

All you really should have had to done is simply double click the install package then follow the instructions until the mod was installed.

You don't have WIC installed on some other drive other than C or the one you have windows installed on do you?

It should already be set to where it needs to go when the directory on the installer pops up.

I can start up servers, but Massive is having technical difficulties for some strange reason......I don't know why you or anyone else could start up a server, but the original game company can't.....I'm ****** about this.

Just double click the installer and it does the work for you. It sounds like ur plopping the RAR file into the directory, which is not what you want to do.

When u were in the main menu screen, did you go to options and activate the mod?

Don't have the money to hire an actor to do the voices......Yeah, I just wanted the TAs and Units to say the right thing but when you don't have matching sound files for it you either have to make ur own or add ones that don't match. You know what I mean?

It's ok man, I won't bite ur head off as long as you're reasonable. 1.67 is the newest version and it is compatible with update 10. In addition, you can play it either online or offline in skirmishes with bots.

I basically made balancing changes and corrected booboos from the older 1.65. I left 1.65 around in case you wanted to play online with someone who doesn't have the newest version yet.

You installed the mod right?......Let it go through it's little download process, it gets hung up on 80% for a minute or so then it says installation complete...then you start wic then go to options and select no_hopev1.67 and then on the main menu screen you should see the big No Hope logo with wind blowing in the background and that's when you know it's working.

Massive is setting up a server to run 24/7 sometime next week. It's going to use NHv1.67. I need some more people to set up servers that can run too. It's pretty fun online. I'll include some links on how to set up servers and the good part is it's free to set up servers. The only hard part is configuring your router correctly.
