nope, you need uninstall the old one and reinstall the new one. i know its pain, but no choice, because some monster are no more available in v13.
technically, they are no risk to just otherwise the old version with the new ones, but that let all the non used monster files in your data (that take place for nothing).
but as i say, they are no really risk to otherwrite, it replace meshes/textures and the esp with the new one
(if old version use .esm and .bsa, just delete them and install the new one)
better to start a new game too for avoid save corrupt or else

but my personal recommendation is to uninstall the old one and reinstall the new one, its pain, but its better if you not want CTD

alright, i have played for some time, here my POV

i didnt have encounter any CTD or crash bug

+ lots of weapons and armors
+ nice skin/npc
+ nice lil' story for beginning into this world ( started as female store security with daughter)
+ nice map/city/places
+ nice ambient during fire fight (shotgun/m4/ak/magnum vs jeep/horse/bandit with rifle ^^ that was epic)
+ zombis with survivor challenge to pick supplies

- some armors appear bugged, misplaced helmet (ex: desert bandits), dissapear pants (recruted tavern homies), floating helm (white kingdom army men)
- some bandit appear under the horses (desert bandit and generally 1 on 5 bandits with horses), i got red error message ingame about this "line 40" ,this no crash the game or else. i have see this happen too sometime when the bandits is hit by bullet and he not fall of the horse but continu to ride "under" the horse
- ray gun is way too cheap ^^

i not have see any big bug for all my play time for now, nothing important, just some little time to wait for map loading. other than that, nothing .

verdict :
this mod is very cool, completly different than any other M&B mods, nice models and textures, good story choices, good sound gun/music/cars/etc.. , funny to be attacked by deer or goat XD
lots of work put into this mod, work good for me and i wait for moar.
keep up the good work .

maybe a little stupid question (sorry if its) but this mod have the "universal bren carrier" and the "m3 with quad .50" right ?

what i need do for obtain it ? i mean, what category "attribute" and team i need for use them ? i likely use them alots ^^ they look very fun.
i have try german tank elit and germazn wehrmacht but i not found them O_o. maybe you not have add them already ....idk , please somebody tell me what path i need use for obtain this toys. i use latest version of course with steam version and installation good ,everything work, i just not found this vehicules

i say : i like alots the face of the soldiers ^^ very nice.

-go on steam, at top of steam select "game"

-select "add a non steam game"

-in the little window that open, go at bottom and choose the first option button (idk name in english, its near "add to selection")

-navigate into your CoH place and select RelicCoH.exe, valid, thats add a RelicCOH into your game library.

-right click on the RelicCOH you have in your steam library and choose proprity

- now change the "start in" , click on "change" button, scroll for change the "program files (*.exe) and choose "all files (*.*). then navigate into your CoH place and select the .bat file you want use ( cheat or normal .bat)

this change the "target" line in same time, so you not need touch of this.

you can rename it (the game shortcut in steam library), like "modern combat mod" or something in the first little window at up and choose an icon (the modern combat have an icon special for this ^^ )

then close the window. and now you can launch the mod by click on the game on your library (the one you just have create) or create an desktop shortcut of this game for acces more faster

you can use this how many time you want, thats not affect the CoH vanilla, because its simply a shortcut for launch the mod ^^, i have create both 1 cheat and 1 normal

when you launch the game (mod) this can appear to be slow, you maybe need wait 10-20 secondes before the mod start the first time you launch it.
for be sure it work, when you launch it, you should see a black window (like the one open and close faster) and an steam window open and close fast too, thats normal (idk why, but its normal ^^)

ok i have reinstall all the mod, and install patch good, but not work :(
when i click on the bat it open and close a window very fast.

but "alelouya !" i have found a way for make it work.
i have create a non steam game shortcut on steam named "modern cobat CoH", then i right click on it in my steam library game, select proprity and i have change the "target" line, selected "show alltype of files" and select the modern combat launcher.bat. and save.
and now, when i launch it with steam as a "non steam game" , it launch modern combat without problem. i have tested i can launch the both (normal and cheat .bat) but i need a shortcut for both of course.
everything is good, sound like i needed create a steam shortcut for make it work good.

oh , i just have copy, and in the download, the file appear like

modern combat folder
modern combat launcher cheat mode.bat
modern combat launcher.bat
modern combat.module

like the .bat and module is not on the modern combat folder, i thinking its in good place :(

and for launch the mod i have create shortcut (select copy/ desktop paste in shortcut) the .bat , i have try with both, the one in the install place and the one in the modern combat folder, but the problem is the one in the modern combat folder launch the updater everytime i try (i have the updater.exe and INI in the modern combat folder, do i need delete it ?).

i have make simple copy/paste of the files . thats have place the .bat and module files in the CoH install place (same place than the relicCOH.EXE. and the Modern combat folder mixed with existed old modern combat folder (otherwise and all) , everything in the steamapps/common/company of heroes relaunch. i think its the good way for install

oh, i have see it containt double files , modern combat launcher.bat (and cheat version) is in the install place of CoH and inside the modern combat folder too with the updater.exe and INI . its normal ?

ah ! its ok, i got it worked . but i use the "old" style , create relic shortcut and add the -dev -mod moderncombat to the relicCOH shortcut, and not use the .bat . so, idk if its ok and working, or if i risk a bug or something to not use the bat :(. for now, it look like work good

i have install it, all good, create shortcut, path is good and all, but when i click on the shortcut (or even on the "Modern Combat Launcher.bat") it open a black window with the path inside and , its path for the updater. thats tell me my files is up to date. and thats all. i cant launch the game ... what should i do ?

yes ! lol i m based of the 2 units , german wehrmacht and usa ^^ of vanilla game. anyway you have understand what i mean ^^ (sorry for eventual english error ^^)

+ infantry die realist (easily with hmg or vehicule fire)
+ sounds
+ textures

- usa look a bit favorised (tank more strong, artillery have more long range..)
~+ cant wait more from this mod ^^

finally this mod is very good, nice models and all , and soo damn crazy on big battle with all this HMG shooting everywhere (infantry,tank,bunker) lol ^^

not work for me :( , it not detect the blitzkrieg mod and tell me an window error "unhandled exception etc..." if i click in <select> button look like an error about "font arial narrow" O_O i not understand at all what happen ...

its installer ! ^^ download and install the mod ...normally, and good for update automatically ^^
