Get out of here, Stalker! Just joking friends, come in and enjoy my constantly growing profile. This is the list of the games I play: S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series (favourite), Far Cry series (also one of my favourites), Crysis games (nice graphics), Assassin's Creed series (#1 games when it comes to atmosphere and history), GTA (especially San Andreas), Borderlands 1&2. Oh, and I'm addicted to World of Tanks right now... Feel free to comment my images!
Well, title says all. I need feedback, guys!
I must say for the first attempt it looks really good keep going and you should make another screen in first person. IMO this camo would really fit in Misery mod since everything is brown there
That's Mr. Rifleman's AK-74 isn't it? Good job, I like how you kept the camo paint off of the scope mount and magazine. I'd personally have kept the mag bakelite, but that's just me.
Nah, I took it from r_populiks CoP OWR. Well, idk if he took it from him, but I havent seen any credits there.
I am still not sure if I should keep the mag bakelite, but I think for an authentic zone camo this is just too bright.
Yeah, r_populik used Mr. Rifleman's model AFAIK. Well, IMO if you aren't going to use bakelite orange, just use black plastic, but please use reference pics to help, because I'm pretty sure all black AK-74 mags have ribs around the front:

Always try to match the camo with the weapons feel, the grip for example really stands out, making the camo useless. Also, camo is mostly applied to things like grips, the tops of weapons, lightly on stock / polymer etc. but never on the barrel of the weapon iirc. Almost never, that is.
Try this as reverence; both build from nothing:

What the heck I thought you were away!?
I am, I just (with the luck i have) got free wifi from my boss :)
Wow. Thanks for all the info's, will try something different now.
Edit: Whoa...I will stop doing that, I doubt I will ever have the skills to only read that O_O
I thought you just wanted to have break from all PMs, Bug reports....etc.
I came to the conclusion I will never have a break:

You should have a sidekick.
I think your on the right track here man, the bakelite/magazine advice seems good. From some experience of many years ago, weapon camouflage was achieved by breaking down the lines of a rifle with scrim or hessian type materials, we were taught that nature doesn't have straight lines, and we need to break them down. I'm sure there are hundreds of pictures of sniper rifles available on the net showing what I mean.
