No matter what I keep doing, it keeps saying I don't have DirectX 8.1. I have every legacy DirectX build I can find and it refuses to detect it.

So I keep crashing and getting the error message when I play this. Generals works fantastic with no issues unmodded so is there any fixes for this that anybody can recommend? Everything I've tried hasn't helped

Do you still need to patch the SS executable to use 4GB memory or does the mod do this now?

Can somebody fix this link? Looks like ModDB doesn't have the file anymore. Keeps timing out.

I've tried multiple times to install this and get it to work but something isn't working. I've had the mod installed before but it might have been a previous version. I did a complete clean install and verified twice. Deleted everything related to the game before install as well included my documents folder. With the clean install, I copied the files over and ran the BAT file. Then I applied the patch. The game refuses to even launch after the Templar banner pops up. Any advice?

I'll double check after work but it's weird since the guns and enemy models are working. I am launching the game via the shortcut leading to the inject.exe. I have the config pointing to the 115 POV as recommended as well.

Hi there. So I downloaded the new file, installed it to my Steam directory on a fresh JK install and configured it as instructed. It seems like the models such as NPCs and weapons are updated but the background textures of the environment are not. Can't figure out what to do differently. Also the muzzle flash has a kind of black box that flashes up briefly.

I just reinstalled THB with the new full installer but for some reason I'm missing the main mod modules. They just aren't installing. Any advice?
