I really enjoyed playing this huge mod. The HUD is innovative and the weapon models are very nicely made. I played it on Normal (with patch v1.1), which isn't particularly challenging combat wise. The puzzles aren't particularly complex either but certainly well made. I only spent a long time figuring out the location of the underwater grate ocean side.
I agree with Durandel that the flares are by far not bright enough. I used one the entire mod, cause it hardly helps visibility anyway.
I did encounter almost no bugs during gameplay (saw the edge of the world once, saw a single remaining French sentence in the English version and ran into one invisible NPC), which is impressive for such a large mod. Very minor issue is that you keep picking up the stop-bleeding and bullet-time items regardless of your inventory for those being maxed out.
The story line is ok but somewhat thin. I though some periods between the story advancing to be rather lenghty.

I really enjoyed this mod, specifically because it creates a very strong storyline and the voice acting is believable enough to pull that off.
This isn't your usual "here's your scenario and now run and gun xyz maps", but a credible story that fits seemlessly in the HL2 universe with plenty of scripted events to keep the player involved in it.

Would recommend playing this on Hard as it seems a bit easier on Normal than your average HL2 map.

I have to say that this is one of the extremely rare mods that I stopped playing out of frustration.
A mod that's hard to play is fine, but a mod that's hard to play and provides no save game mechanism (HL2 crashes when you try to save or load using the quicksave/load buttons) is not my favorite type of game.
It gets tedious very fast to have to start from scratch every time.

Other than that, it seems a lovely idea that's very nicely executed.

The lack of gravity gun to flip the buggy is one thing (though one could simply load a save in the rare instance of flipping it on this road without debris), but the rest of your complaints seem due to your lack of appreciation of damage vs distance for the shotgun and smg compared to your pistol rather than the designers lack of skill.

When played on Hard setting, this mod is still very playable even with the carefully limited amount of ammo.

Very minor issues would be that you can't move backwards into the preceeding map even when there's no obstacle to it (but many mods have this problem and most people will never notice it) and some art has been used somewhat repetitively in some places.

Overall, I would warmly recommend this mod to anybody, because I thoroughly enjoyed it.
