For anyone wondering about COFFIN

Version 1.0: The earliest expression of the COFFIN system. Made possible by cameras mounted around the aircraft's cockpit and body, along with an array of screens, patterned in a 360-degree sphere within the cockpit. The pilot is also completely conscious and not connected to their aircraft. The cockpit's front panels, however, somewhat reduce the pilot's view.
Version 2.0: The second version of the COFFIN system. The pilot is connected to their aircraft through minor neural connections, allowing for a seamless 360-degree field of view.
Version 3.0: The final realization of the COFFIN system. The pilot is completely connected to their aircraft through ENSI technology and flies the aircraft subconsciously. A perfect 360 degree view is established and because of the ENSI, the pilot can fly their aircraft directly from their synapses. This greatly increases the capabilities of the aircraft it is installed in.

I believe that third craft is COFFIN I

So it has come to my attention that some people may or may not have been complaining about me blaming the fans for things going wrong. This information came from FlyAwaySpark/FlyAwayNow, so I have no idea how accurate it is because he likes to mess with me >_>

When I say FaN or FAN, I'm talking about FlyAwaySpark/FlyAwayNow.

I'm not blaming the fans for anything going wrong. Sorry for any confusion, I'll call him like... FlyAway or something from now on.

OK, so
Going through comments and thread posts, I've figured out a few things that we need to fix with the voices. Keep in mind, I do not have the game myself, so I might be unaware of some of the fixes as I can't find any video anywhere (FAN!!!)

Relative Volume - Apparently Fixed ( I don't know :/ )

Pitch Range I know from experience has to be turned down from the only video that exists, which was pre-patch (probably already fixed, but again... I can't know until I see video)

Monotony needs to be fixed through the addition of or replacement by more lively voice work. ( :smugface: )

FaN needs to be more concise with his instructions >_>

Anything more?

EDIT: Also, having our younger members VA is probably a derpy idea. But who am I?

If you're crazy enough, TS, you could probably write some code that records a player's flying, and the AI learns from that... then you could record some dogfighting, and have them learn to a certain extent. :P

well we've heard samples in the past and it was fine... maybe you need to activate it in the options. I doubt it's default. kinda.... profane. At least on my part :P I'm a very sweary guy :P

I hate to ask when it seems you're working really hard and would rather not mislead your followers on this deal, but I just got SoC and I'm looking, very enthusiastically, to expand my experience for it. So I have to ask: Is there a base ETA on the release?

Also, because I'm new to modding STALKER, I'd like to know if this will override any of my Complete 2009 stuff?

And because I love asking questions and exploration: Will Dead City be fully accessible? (All buildings can be explored.)

I don't have VT (yet) so stop me if any of these suggestions are already in the game.

It seems we are making the game more simulator-y, save for realistic aircraft dynamics, that I am aware. So I thought I'd give out a few ideas.

-RADAR Terrain masking

-A Key combination (like... Alt-E or something) to cut out the engine entirely but not the flight control. have the same key combo restart the engine. Air flow will help get the turbine spinning again.

-A weather system that can cause interference with RADAR and IFF. So it can shorten the detection range of enemy craft during like... a lightning storm.

-Add actual heat detection to IR-guided missiles. You can just assign like... different heat values to different things. This would make IRCM plausible, yet not always effective, because god knows flares don't always work.
