How does one get in on the closed alpha?

Release pre-alpha so we can play with whatever you have done D:

I just want to play as Undead in campaign.

I don't know then, I have never encountered that problem. Maybe get a newer version of Winrar or something? No idea, friend.

I am preeetty sure you need Kingdoms, because it adds those other campaigns that this mod replaces.

Uhhm, Winrar? It should just do it all. Extract to Total War directory 3.0 parts 1 and 2, then look in the mods folder and rename one of the campaigns something else, and The_Third_Age folder to the original folder you renamed.

I change americas to americas1, then The_Third_Age to americas.

Okay, so apparently any one having problems with this mod, the problem lies in the newest patch, go back to 3.0 it works flawlessly.

How do you get it to do that? I remember it USED to be like that, now it just makes me choose without the window pop up. Steam user though, maybe that is why. Kingdoms used to bring up that window, and now that it is gone, I don't know what you mean.

Also, I am trying to reinstall after not playing for a long while and I am getting the crash to desktop after a moment sitting on the loading screen.

What? There are 6 .txt files.

item_kinds1.txt
music.txt
scripts.txt
simple_triggers.txt
strings.txt

I put them all in the TLD module because that is where it said they go, where does each go then? Unless opening with Winrar does something to it, I don't know what happened.

Can I get a link to it? I found the supposed hotfix and replaced the files and the text is still messed up. Is there something I missed here?

I have it all working, no crashing or anything. Only problem is that the text in game, as in the names of cities, characters, menus, EVERYTHING but the big title is messed up. So I have no information or anything. I have no clue how to fix it. Any ideas or people who solved this already?
