But I rather use some moss and ivy variations in interior instead of these awesome bushes. It would make more sense.
Also, in my opinion, that cage on ceiling lamp doesn't fit overall lighting.

Actually there is auto language selection in source engine, so if you have English in your steam options the menu buttons in mod would be in English.
As well as if you've got any over language what is supported by HL2 selected in your steam options the menu buttons would be in that language.

Мехатроники и Информатики, там главный минус, что поступая на информационные специальности (типо Информационные системы и сети/информационные технологии в дизайне) или технические, такие как Автоматизация производства и там смежные, суют сначала на общий факультет - Мехатроники и информатики, а потом, по результатам твоей учебы в семестре + ЕГЭ/вступительные уже распределяют по специальностям (точнее выбираешь куда ты больше хочешь и рассеивают народ по разным специальностям этого факультета)

На сайте расписан у них вроде этот процесс, я мог криво описать его %)

Блин, ребят, я конечно понимаю если у вас с английским ноль то никуда без всяких промтов и прочего говна, но уж такие ошибки, как Cards вместо Maps уж можно было заметить.
Еще ошибки:
Правильно "sound of" а не "sound at", 4ая строка :фейспалм: проще написать:"ai_disabled bug on map change fixed", может тоже не очень граматно, но хотябы читаемо.

Последняя строка тоже не без ошибки.
+ если заливаете что-то, лучше уж сразу в моддб, а не давать ссылку на народ.

code? hl2 alredy have particle system technology, all you need to create custom particle effect is run ep2/ep1/hl2 with parameter "-tools" and choose particle editor. You can enter "-tools" parametr in steam.

Главная проблема в этом деле сделать хоть какое-то ощутимое отличие от валвоского подобия леса и сотни других, наштампованных мапперами по всему свету :)
Эти деревья начинают удручать, когда видишь их в 101 раз :)

П.С.: Если это для мода, а не просто зарисовка - можно подумать о мелком ретекстуре.

Первый опыт рисования в цвете с использованием "пальца".
На предыдущих рисунках, красил поверх ч/б слоёв уже.

Разглядеть увы не удастся, когда рисовал забылся и не заметил что рисую в 2х кратном приближении.

По мазкам, собственно и мелкие аккуратные и фильтр, вместе выходит более реалистичный вид. Использую пару-тройку слоев: Один оригинал, поверх такойже только со Смарт шарпом и еще один с фильтром очерчивания краев, с минимальным размером и максимальным шарпом. Ну и еще цвето корекция в конце, изначально было чуть менее яркий рисунок.

Fix light:
advanced -> $light_exe -> -StaticPropLighting -StaticPropPolys -TextureShadows = better trees shadows;

work with your light environment, try different numbers in brightnes (n n n 800+) and ambient (n n n 680+);

and don't forget about add fog

не согласен, детейл шейп кпримеру есть в том же кссорсе, но убран в еп2.. много возможностей в себе имеет сурс, огромные поля для продвижения, но не все они открыты для моддеров из-за лицензионного соглашения :)
Да и в добавок, надо иметь хорошего кодера...
А так - взгляни на маппинг в Дир Эстер - красотища, главное уметь подойти.
