IMPORTANT NOTE!
for some reason the engine doesn't support cyrillic/ascii characters and some punctuation marks so please keep your filenames to simple english.
if you have a crash on startup/load check your log file. the unsupported character will be shown as a "?" symbol.
make sure the .ogg files are 96kb bitrate and the playlist folder name is formatted correctly e.g "_playlist_03".
also it seems the first 2 playlists are hardcoded into the radio mod so you need to start from 3.

having trouble with mortal sin. on the quest "red forest haunters" picking up the sin squad leader's pda does nothing. i still have a quest marker telling me to search the bodies :/
could this be because i'm carrying another quest pda for beard? (from doctorx questlines)
i think you misunderstood the question. in vanilla coc you can change factions permanently by speaking to an npc and paying a fee.
with this addon active if you change factions in this manner your faction will always revert to the one you picked at the start of the game when you take off any outfit. (instead of the one you paid to change to).
e.g
1) speak to sid (while wearing no outfit) and pay to change factions to loner.
2) you are now a loner, put on another faction's outfit and it will say "you are now disguised as a *faction* member"
3) now take off the disguise outfit. you will still be considered *YOUR ORIGINAL FACTION* instead of a loner (even though you you paid to become a loner.)
this is a bug.
can you still change factions with this addon?
i've tried, but every time i take an outfit off it resets me to my original faction.
am i missing something?
that's the crazy thing, it was on starting a new game at zaton. so I made the changes you mentioned within the archive itself then reinstalled everything and now it works fine.
I must have missed something first time around.

just tried removing wpn_hand_ak74u_hud_animation.omf, and still getting the same crash at zaton. :/
I'll try a fresh reinstall and see if that makes a difference.

if you just kill and loot the bodies yourself eventually the quest will end. One time I had him following me around for 3 days. I went back to yantar and killed a snork and the mission completed.
Here's the one I'm using (150 opacity)
whipped this up for this purpose
1)open the ui_actor_menu in paint.net (or photoshop with a .dds plugin)
2)paste the above image in as a new layer then change the layer opacity to your liking.
3)flatten the image then save as dxt5 (no mipmaps)
think of it as a peripheral vision simulator ;)
ever thought tweaking configs\creatures\m_stalker.ltx like in the old npc survivability addon?
your addon makes all the guns feel just about right but even on master npc's still feel just a tiny bit too bullet spongy.
is compatible with dynamic hud?
did you implement the "fat stalkers fix"?

if you play without minimap do the different map spots options show up on the PDA?
isnt it just the /trade .ltxs that need merging so the OA outfits are available from traders?
I merged these already (with the traders buy used weapons addon) if that helps in the short term.
