Check out the changelog it has a weapons section. The Carbine has already been slightly dmg nerfed and then mobility buffed because it's lightweight. M1 Garand is also buffed to be decently stronger than the carbine now. The springfield does not have half the damage as the kar in this mod, they are close to being equal. But it doesn't make a lot of sense to make bolt actions good for the flow of the game, they are starting room low cost weapons

Sort of, a more complete (but still not fully done) list of changes is on the github, you can google it same name as this mod page. The Springfield is still a little worse than the Kar, being that on Verruckt the Garand is in the same room which is better than the Gewehre so it balances out. However, the Kar98k/Arisaka are still the same as their balance is intentional, they are the cheapest weapon you can buy. The scoped versions do pack more of a punch, and each map now has a different variant--so you can actually get the scoped mosin for example.

You should take back your feedback from TATW 4.0

"I don`t see any changes in this version. Can`t shake the feeling that someone took hard work of original creators of Third Age Total War and added few custom settlements, moved some of them few milimeters in other directions just to get some attention."

This is ridiculously ignorant and disrespectful.

He released the mod in 2011. NINE years ago. And he has worked on it every, single, year, with new updates. There are at least 500 changes/bug fixes/new units/new models/new settlements, and you can see the full documentation here, Twcenter.net the mod has literally gone through 9 years of development, do you not see how MANY changes he has made? Yet you sit here saying he just stole the original mod and switched a few things.

He's given full credit. It's advertised as a patch, you're a very ignorant person, do your research before slandering a mod.

What about a War gamemode? Standard dc 15 and dc 17 clones vs B1s and Super battle droids, and increase units. I belive another mod had this. all out chaos

My favorite mod too. My biggest thing with mods is that I always hope:

* They follow the movie as much as possible

* They stick with the art style of Battlefront 2 (does not use stuff from other games or textures that are too high resolution and look weird!

It looks like you did all that in the previous version so I'm looking forward to how you can expand it! My one suggestion - would it be possible to replace the announcer voice with the voice actor from the actual prequels, like they had in the original Battlefront 1?

Tried it out and had some fun probably might be my go to for playing vanilla-esque battlefront that has mods and improvements but it still feels like the same game which I love.

A few things, I think the walkers on Kashyyyk beach should be moved to Utapau and replaced with ATRTs on Kasyyyk which look better in the environment and were in movies. And this might be temporary but the clone trooper blaster is the same sound as droid blaster. Other than that looking perfect.

John_Banana - - 60 comments @ Sereja's maps conversions

Not sure if this has been addressed, but at least in the Umbara map there are some issues with the default one, I know you ported it and maybe changed it though.

No sounds on AT RT lasers & AT TE lasers. The middle capture points start out as neutral which makes the game take too long to get to the fight. The CIS should be in control of the majority of the map, with republic attacking. Adding gunships at the first republic spawn would be coo. Also, it starts with 150 lives per team, it should be like 500. Every battle you find is 2-3 droids and 1 alien against a few clones all surrounding a huge tank. Just needs to be way more AI and more lives for such a big map. Also, final thing, the AI team gets into enemy tanks and Idk if that is intentional because in the show they got in their ships but yeah.

Looking great. Super excited!

I noticed though the 212th rifleman has too much orange it seems on the helmet (forehead strip & side ear pieces) I.pinimg.com

Also always cool to see clone wars units (wolf pack) in the art style of episode 3 clones, much more realistic.

Cool project. I also found this mod Moddb.com and I think it would be cool if you talked to him and combined some of the stuff/fixes he has in his project as it would fit perfect here. You already have the HD menu I see, but there are also extra options he added in settings like AI heros, award effect, etc.

I also was curious about comparing this to Harrison's popular remasters. I imagine the rezzed maps he has done will be compatible because this doesn't change vanilla land maps except one, and then of course the shader mod will work, but what about the skins he has done? I can't test in game yet but I know his are really good quality textures especially the clones, I think some of yours may even be from the same source. They look amazing and fit the style really well, good job.

I guess I'm just wondering what you think about the assets in those other 2 mods, or if you've thought about using some of the skins they have found in bf3 or wherever.

Steam already has 1.1 patch. Steam games usually have the newest official version of the game. 1.3 patch is made by modders who improved the 1.2 patch, which was also made by modders. CD version is the same as initial release and that is why it needs 1.1 patch.

Game will always show v1.1 even if you have 1.3. Make sure you download the r130 1.3 patch, that's all you need, do not install any other patches beforehand. Make sure it's a fresh install of the game. Then install the bf3 legacy mod. coruscant is currently crashing on steam versions but try the other 3 maps.

This is a great mod, tested it out and works fine.
A few suggestions (You may be aware already, but I thought i'd still comment):

* Some of the gun names/award weapon names are still the game file ones like "award_weapon. . . " etc for the clones at least

* The 212th standard guy has a messed up name in the class selector its like random letters/numbers

* The standard 327th trooper has 2 pistols holstered, but his secondary is one of the pistols, so you should make it like the 442nd commander how only one of the pistols is in the holster because the second one is in his loadout, just makes more sense in my opinion

I think that's it so far. Also this mod is 100% compatible with Battlefront remastered mod + the 3 graphics mods by harrison which is really cool.

John_Banana - - 60 comments @ Star Wars Battlefront II Remastered

hell mother ****** yeah best mod. perfectly designed works 100% well with harrisonfog's BF2 graphics remastered too. Good job. But I loaded it up and was disappointed that there was still the awards effects and confused at AI heros but it was all in the Remaster settings which was such a relief!

PS: For anyone installing, download the 1.3 patch beforehand & if you type " /resolution 1920 1080 " in your Battlefront 2 steam properties/set launch options then you do not need to use Anakin's exe launcher. Also, you can keep his amazing launcher icon by copying the pathway into the original battlefront 2 steam shortcut.

I have the 1.0 version and am going to install this update, should I delete the "Mastereffet" folder from the 1.0? As there is none in 1.1.

You need to find other people with the mod to play with. You can't just join anyone, those people are the people NOT using the mod. Join the steam group and find people there.

Winrar is 100% free. It says there is a "free trial" but I, and everyone else in the world have never had to pay after the trial ends. It's like a running joke on the internet, they say you have to pay but they never block the application after the trial, lol.

Do you have a copy of the VANILLA third age 3.2 folder?

John_Banana - - 60 comments @ Third Age: Reforged

Basically, get a copy of the Third Age 3.2 and then RENAME it to Third_Age_Reforged. DRAG the downloaded FOLDER AND BAT FILE INTO the Third_Age_Reforged. The files in the data folder will replace some so be ready for that.

Then do the steam step where you change the properties.
