Ok I thought there was but enabling the script caused my game to freeze during startup, so I enabled script 2 as that worked.
Yes I had army of the dead but it must be that I can't use script 1

2 questions

1: after clicking the GRK.bat what is the difference between option 1 (enable script) and 2 (change from ND to Reunited kingdom)?

2: Is there a certain turn number you must be at before the event happens? I've completed all the tasks and captured all the settlements needed but nothing happened?

Mine only goes down to w: Second age something....
I saw the comment before where someone had this issue where you suggested re-install, I tried it but no luck.
If it comes to it i'm happy to play the other campaigns

Are all the .bat files supposed to do exactly the same thing? I assumed not, they all load the same thing for me strange.
Anyway now that works the first age campaigns don't, straight after start campaign they take me back to the menu any idea on that one?
ps i saw a post before about only having up to w in the custom campaigns i have the same thought i'd let you know.

I can get everything to work but changing between 1st Age. The .bat files launch medieval 2 and then crash immediately, i've followed the instructions. Anyone know why this happens??

1 more question (sorry), since the update 1.2 good factions declare war on other good factions all the time. Such as Northern Dunedain attacking Gondor, is this something that is meant to happen and hasn't been addressed? Anyway can I edit this also?

Is there anyway I can change the script so that regions which have a limited build level can be upgraded beyond that point? eg Dol Vorn, can't become a city (I understand that it might be lore accurate) can i change that?

Hey TheEliteDwarf thanks for the response.
It did crash on previous versions but seems to be worse since the 1.2 update.
It crashes during end turn, and the faction it crashes on changes but mainly its around Harad Tribes or Khand. I have done what you said before but at the moment its crashing every 5 ish turns and I don't want to have to send someone so often.
I'll have a look at the optimization guide hopefully it might fix the problem.

Hi, does anyone know why the game crashes all the time?

Hey guys I need some help.
I keep getting campaign crashes every 10ish turns, this also happens when I'm in a battle in campaign.
This happened with DaC 0.5 and its continued with v1, I thought it may be a bad download but nothing changed when I re-downloaded. I've also tried changing from disc version to steam but this didn't do anything.
If anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated.

I have a problem with my game, every couple of turns the game crashes, I've tried loads of different factions but it is still the same.
Sometimes it tells me there is a problem with graphics but when I lower them the same thing still happens.

I have installed this mod many times and i still having the same problem: when i'm playing with a faction on the campaign map, every 4 or 5 turns the game crushes with this message: Total war encountered an unspecified error and will now exit. I cant play any battles as the game may crash.
Any help would be great thanks.

Hi there, I have a problem with this mod. In every campaign I play there will be a certain point where it will crash and I can not go any further, this happens with every faction I play as. It doesn't always happen at the same turn but it will eventually crash, I need help thanks.
