I have copied the echoes folder directly inside Half-Life folder including cg.dll & CgGL.dll files

The problem I'm facing is that I can't find Half-Life Echoes in the game library even after restarting Steam many times.

Is this because my Steam folder isn't in it's usual place "C:\Program Files" but in "F:\Games"?

Can I get a work-around for this?

Does this game require you to have Battlefield 2? Is it completely free?

So is the story complete? Because I'm more interested in playing the story as a whole. I don't mind bugs etc.....

Certain total conversions doesn't require you to have the base game installed. Like Cry of Fear, No More Room in Hell, The Dark Mod.

How about Steam? Do we need that?

Is this game free or requires Stalker:SOC?

Total conversion?

So it's free, doesn't require San Andreas to play?
