I just installed the game, started up the Clone Wars GC, built a few ships, researched some, but it crashed as soon as i attacked a planet, anyone know whats wrong?

Just went into a battle with just the Orion, and an Ark Of Truth, in the battle it showed a ZPM icon on the Orion, so it looks like it works like 1 of those.

I've got a game going on 1.2 at the moment, War Zone GC, and i've just taken the last of the Pegasus planets, which just happens to be Asuras. I've got the option to build the 2 ZPM's as i expected, but i can also build 2 Ark Of Truth's, what exact function do those have?

Also, ive been playing it for a while, obviously with all the P planets taken, i have Major Lorne in the Orion, but for some reason there's still no sign of the Daedelus, Odyssey or Apollo, not to mention Teyla, Todd and Layla (i think, the other Ancient ship), anyone know why those aren't showing up?

Any chance you could change the build requirements for the Ground Hypervelocity Gun, its a pain in the *** having to build a Light, then Medium Factory before being able to build the weapon.

I've got Tech Level 5, and it's just at the start of Week 54, i just loaded it again, and exactly the same thing happened, as soon as the Empire conquers Polus, crash.

Although, now that i think about it, it might just have been a Space Victory

Bug Found:

Twice now, on the middle Empire At War map, the Empire conquered Polus, and as soon as they did, FOC crashed to the desktop.

when i was playing that same game, i got 1 of the countdowns at the top of the screen, it was about 5 minutes, but instead of saying 'Death Star' of 'Imperial Fleet' it has '[Missing]'.

I've played Absolute Corruption 2.4 with this computer, that usually has a lot of ships, including the big ones, but i never had problems with it

I dont think the addon did all that much, i tried 1 battle with a Space Cap of 20, but the Empire still sent, all at once, Admiral Giels Flagship (8 points) Emperor Palpatine (12Points), those 2 together meet the maximum, but they also sent Thrawn, Piett, Mara Jade, the Arc Hammer, as well as a few normal ISD's, VSD's and smaller ships.

The addon did make a difference, it was quicker, but it still lagged. They sent 3 big ships against me, 1 of which was the Executor, which didn't have a Pop Point... im assuming you left that out deliberatly, at a guess, due to the Battle Of Endor. I'll give it another shot, this time taking the Space Cap down to 30 from the standard 45, if that doesn't work, i'll try even lower, dont really have a choice if i wanna play this Mod with any degree of speed.

I've found out what's causing the massive slowdown on Space Battles, and it's not (like i thought) the large amount of ships on screen at the same time, although that might have added to it. I was playing a Skirmish, and everything was fine, but the slowdown started EXACTLY when the Empire sent 1 of the really big ships against me, i cant remember exactly what kind it was, it was about the size of an SSD, but looked more like just a vastly oversized ISD, and the slowdown only got worse when i sent 1 of my own SSD's out to fight it. Unfortunatly for me, and others in the same situation, i doubt there'll be an addon to remove all those like-sized ships, since they're a core part of the game, especially some of the Story Battles.

Wish that was an option :-P, anyway, im gonna edit the Pop Values myself for the Heroes and Fleets, the Heroes are easy to find, but where can i find the Fleets, ive had a look but cant see them?

You might want to change the Hereoes Population Points, my computer isn't bad, but it struggled in battles, so i turned the Space Cap down to 30, a drop of 33%, which i thought would help, but the Empire sent a fleet against me, with a full 30 point fleet to start with of course, but they had every one of thier Heroes in there as well... that caused just as much slowdown.

The Tech Fleets are probably the same, they dont have Pop Points either, and while thier Re-enforcements do take up Points, you could still have a MASSIVE amount of the Fleets starting ship in a battle depending on your Credits

How stable will the new release be? I just downloaded Light (a bit late considering the impending Full i know) and i fought over Felucia with just the Rebel Tech 5 Fleet, no stations, against what i assume was the Empire version of the Tech 5 (not tried them yet) as well as another few capital ships, won the battle which i was quite pleased with, but when the last Empire ship left retreated, i got an error and FOC crashed. I think the retreating ship was part of the Tech Fleet, would that be a problem?

i think he's asking that when the Tau'ri are level 1 and 2 on Tech, will they have ships that early, or will they have to rely on Ground based units to progress a bit

Nice update, 1 thing i would like to request though, can u put in a GC where the Tauri, Anubis and Wraith all just start with 1 or 2 planets each, and its just a good old fashioned war, no events. Thats not to say im not looking forward to playing the Stargate story, i definitly am, but sometimes i'll just want to play a normal 'Conquer The Galaxy' game.

Apart from a coded Event, i dont remember the Pirates ever attacking any of my planets... im basing this off of EAW though and not FOC, maybe its different in the expansion.

Just to add something, before someone (no-one in particular, but it IS the Internet, all kinds are around) complains about my last post, im NOT saying that the Beliskner should be able to take out an Old Hatak in less than 5 seconds, that would unbalance the game far too much, im just saying that the Asgard ships should all be a fair bit more powerful than they currently are against the pre Anubis ships.

What was the proper built limit for BC-304 Mk 2's in the original mod?
In the description of the Unit, it says the limit is 160 (I think, maybe less, either way it seemed too high), but u could only build 6, which seems too low, especially consdering the number of Anubis Hatak's, Apophis Motherships and Anubis Motherships that the Goa'uld can build.
I know the Asgard ships would be considered the equivelant of those Goa'uld ships, but even those seemed underpowered (even though we never saw proper Combat from them in the show, except for the Supergate Battle) considering Thor expected 3 shots to take out Osiris' Hatak not knowing it had been upgraded

I saw in the 1.1 download comments that u can build Ancient Battleships on the Ultimate War GC Map, but Merlin doesn't know how, and said Spino made the map... can u tell us where and how u can build them, cos ive never seen any option to

Merlin, in an earlier post u replied to someone saying that u can build Ancient Battleships on 1 of the GC Maps only, Ultimate War, how exactly do u do that, ive never seen an option to build anything Ancient other than the Satellite on Atlantis, and Puddle Jumpers?

RIP Dom DeLuise. This guy was a brilliant actor, it seems some of you only know him from SG-1 (he was also the Director Peter DeLuise's father) but you should check some of his earlier work, frequently in Mel Brooks films. But his best film in my opinion (even though many others dont agree) was The Cannonball Run with Burt Reynolds. You should check it out if you've never seen it.

I've had a thought about what the problem may be... I always make a new Data folder for each Mod, put all the files in it, and just rename the folder when i want to change Mods. This is so i can use the Shortcut with the Windowed command, but there was another mod i got, can't remember which, where the AI wouldn't do anything if i installed it my way, but if i installed it into the Mods folder, etc, then the AI worked fine, could that be the problem here, is anyone else using the Windowed Shortcut, and if so, does the AI work ok?

I looked in the Forums, in the thread u mentioned, and the only coding bit i could see was the bit about adding the System_Lords AI, i did that, but the Goa'uld still wont expand thier territories or build up thier fleets... at the moment they have well over 100k Naquadah, but only have thier starting ships

Can anyone play any GC's properly, whenever i play, the Goa'uld always start off as they should, taking planets, building fleets, but not long into it they just stop doing anything, and u have all the time u want to build up your forces. The only time ive ever actually been attacked is in Pegasus by the Wraith, and even then it was only 2 or 3 times, it takes away all the fun when u know u can send every ship u own to attack an enemy planet and every 1 of your own planets are perfectly safe.

unfortunatly the ZPM doesn't seem to be any good when at Tech Level 2, i think u need Caldwell in the Deadalus to be able to travel to Midway, and i have no idea how to advance in tech and/or unlock him

ive finally managed to get the ZPM, u have to get Bra'tak first, i unlocked him when i took over Erebus, then u put him and SG-1 in the same fleet, then u can Hyperspace to Praclarush Taonas
