This mod has the best campaign map mechanics on a tw mod. However, I feel like the battle unit models are a bit lacking in variety. Everything in this mod is perfect except the unit models. Are they designed to retain vanilla feeling? Because since this mod aims for realism, I think more variety in units and more color would be nice. I think it would be great to borrow textures from other m2 mods too

P.S: retinue longbowmen don't use longbows

Are the yellow saxons intended to be a better version of the west saxons? They have everything the west saxons have and more units. Is it not historically accurate for them to have the same roster?

I really love this mod despite not being too keen of the era, I still had such a blast. I saw that you think the viking era is overdone but to be honest, none of them are that detailed. With your map, I'm certain you can make a depiction of the era with much more detail as there are plenty of villages for them to raid.

I really love this mod, however, there seems to be a bug with milan and italian states in general. I always get ctd whenever I try to fight a battle either during deployment or the actual battle. I'm 130 turns in my bavarian campaign so far and got tired but I never experienced any ctd with it. After switching to an italian faction, it's literally unplayable because it always ctds

I always get ctd whenever an enemy general dies in my mercenary playthrough. I guess it's kinda related to the bounty perk where u get 500 gold for each general slain

This mod is already at my top 3 mod list despite still being beta, it's that good. I have a question tho, is the campaign intended to be played at small unit scale? I'm used to playing on huge scales with other mods but at the same time I don't want to abandon my 70 turn wessex campaign with small units.

hey man this is such an amazing mod and submod, I think it would be nice if you can incorporate Insularis Draco's map of Britain if they allowed it. It would be make more sense for the vikings to raid villages surrounding the cities instead of the main cities

if you look closely, most heavy cav are now wearing plate armor and realistically speaking it's hard to kill a full plate knight. stakes will kill them like butter tho

Is there a way to tune down the probability of getting bad traits? It's absurd how almost every single one of my governors get the non constructive trait line when I construct something every single turn. Growing villages is also really difficult because getting a badtaxman trait is really easy.

Hello it's me again, I think there really is something wrong with the campaign AI. I replayed portugal on vh/vh and by turn 30 I already kicked the muslims out of iberia. They have very few armies which I easily beat and the only attack they do is attacking my ships. Only abbasid and crusaders are on war and every other historical rivals don't fight.

Dude honestly, thanks for replying to my inquiries and for making this awesome mod. Last question tho, is there a way to disable the break for portugal? I really like playing portugal and trying to survive the waves after waves of leonese and muslim invasions it feels so rewarding when I actually pull it off.

It's all okay now dude, maybe it's a bug with Portugal. Usually either Leon or Almoravids have attacked me atleast 5 times within 30 turns in other mods. I tried playing as scotland and things work perfectly now. My only problem is the build points, I tried every nation and every general has only 1 siege points which makes sieging very tedious.
