I didn't upload the WIP stages for this, because I worked it through in one session. I needed around 7 hours in total for this.
Just a really basic rendering of it, as I will do some painting over it for the final digital painting of the concept.

I must say, this is a very nice 3d image indeed. Since 3d is a lot harder to make without a 3d program and also the precision you made for these works of yours. It's most impressive and a good sign that you are really taking this seriously.
Thank you, it's really a big load of work to create 3D views without 3D programs, but I think it's worth the effort. You really need a super high amount of accuracy, because perspective is so unforgiving.
I'm proud to have fought myself through all the work without even thinking about giving up until here. I've read an article about game development and how important it is to really finish games and I think that's not only about games, but pretty much any skill. It's important to publish finished pieces and always try to do your best to get there.
Very interesting. Usually when I think 3D I go right for AutoCAD or SketchUp. You are doing a GREAT job!
When you go back to a 3D program it will make even more sense because you did all this perspective work.
Thanks, but "When you go back to a 3D program[...]" I actually never used a 3D program on purpose before, hehe.
You're right and I am mainly doing it for that very reason. I think I'm going to use a 3D program to do those basic renderings from now on, because it's such a timesaver, but I will also do those practices, I don't want to get rusty. And, there is still a lot for me to learn about perspective, especially about some special measure systems.
