My name is Kjell Bunjes and I'm currently living in Germany. I am Team Leader, Concept Artist and Art Director of the upcoming Action Adventure Mindworld. Creating art is a passion of mine for about 3 years now and I'm also fascinated by Psychology. Learning about Social Dynamics, Body Language and Leadership Philosophies is something I do on a daily basis for more than 7,5 years already. This profile has been in use since Winter 2009 and grown ever since. I appreciate the interest that the ModDB community has shown up to here and I hope to inspire even more people out there. You can get notifications about my updates, if you click on the track-button on the right-hand side. Whenever you have a question, don't hesitate to write me a private message, I usually respond within 10 hours (except for weekends). At last, I hope that everyone has a great time and enjoys what he or she is currently doing in life.
Currently working on a game project for uni. This is a little teaser for you guys, because we are planning to probably release the alpha version of the game soon.
It's a 2D side-scroller Jump 'n' Run similar to Line Runner, in which you can gain or lose certain movement skills upon level ups or downs respectively. All the graphics are done by my girlfriend, who is taking the exact same courses at uni as I do.
The game is completely developed in Java and is working on a self-written game engine.
Graphic Design: Katja Lange
Wow I love the art! "We are planning to probably release the alpha version of the game soon", does that mean a public (online) release? :)
Yeah, we are planning to publish the game here on ModDB/IndieDB. The reason why I added a "probably" is because the game engine seems to not be working too fine on a few systems. I've been looking into the problem for quite some time now, but can't manage to find a fix for it. It probably is due to some lower programming behaviours, which I do not understand yet (we are just in the 2nd semester right now and do not have any previous programming experience). Nevertheless, I'll definitely publish the finished version here on my profile minimum.
