I'm doing those drawings in art class, where I have a big package of animal toy figures and I'm planning to do all of those in this style and when I've finished, I'm going to choose some of them and do other perspectives on them and after that adding other themes onto them. So, they might get ready for battle, for example.
Hehe, this one is nice too, however I must say it's not the best. I take it it's an African elephant?
Most of the proportions are of and his main body looks a bit like a potato :P
The head looks very good though. There is also a very nice color blend, I happen to like gray :D
All in all, a nice painting but with some minor flaws.
Most of the proportions are off? I can promise you they pretty much aren't (regarding to the toy figure), because I've worked about 3 hours on the pencil drawing and I spent most of the time checking the proportions and my teacher did so, too. The muscles and bones may be off, because I don't know about animal anatomy and I'm just guessing the muscles and bones from the light that gets reflected on the toy figure, but the overall proportions should be fine (silhouette).
This is more of a digital painting or rendering like the leopard was. I just didn't have the motivation do to all the diagonals like in the other versions and the pencil work had a lot of rendering to it already, aswell.
More animals will follow.
More ones?
Hmmmmm, don't see much reason behind blending/fogging right legs while they are so close to the main body / left legs.
Just wanted to try it out ;)
Looking pretty good. you are really on an animal niche aren't you?

Well... is it a baby elephant? :P Anyway, if it's based upon a toy figure then I suppose it is just the toy that is not entirely accurate...
Which proportions are off?
I'd say the back and it's as =P somehow it just doesn't look right to me...
I'm going to recheck it after I've done all the other animals!
Holy elephant...
