The default trigger the engine spawns for plats is hiding behind the far column.
The plat is also visible poking out from that column on the ground. Nearby are a number of decor that block movement, they have a blue box as well.
Between the player and the turret is a nail the turret shot - its box is a tiny green blip that represents setsize(self, '0 0 0', '0 0 0');
Pink boxes extent well beyond item models for easy pick up - the FL_ITEM bit value set in .flags causes this.
