Thank you, couldn't see any visual difference with my eyesight, but performance boost is really nice. ^_^

Yeah, warband would benefit a lot from an autosave feature. ^_^
Why would you do that? I mean, I get the notion of ironman playthroughs and I like them too, but with games being games, it's much easier to just resist loading saves instead of hardlocking yourself.
That's why you always save in different slots. I prefer 3 per character in case anything breaks.
At least you didn't add freelancer. :P
Did you scale battle size down from 750? Sometimes that's the problem.
If you haven't noticed, it is, indeed, not Warhammer but Warsword.
Try launching Beta 9 instead, see if it works.
Did you turn on "load textures on demand" in the launcher? Usually that's the problem with big mods like this.
Doesn't seem like it, just your luck I'd say. After 100+ days away from mid Westeros I found Westerlands, who had 2 concurrent wars may I add, almost doubled their territory.
Win 7 x32, if that's what you mean by system, although I haven't seen anybody mention this problem, so it can't be that common.
Is game crashing constantly for anybody else? It seems to have something to do with entering town/castle scenes, It runs and plays okay if I don't walk around in towns, but when I need to find guild masters or enter sieges, it takes ~5 to crash the game.
Played a lot of beta 9.0 and it never happened there (or in other mods).
I've tried redownloading and reinstalling mod and a patch, textures are loading on demand, battle size isn't 750 and video settings are adjusted.
There's not enough water in the game for me to care, tbh. It's pretty easy to avoid them altogether till they're removed or fixed.
"All my troops where infantry, guardsman and pike-men"
And you're surprised that you got rolled by ranged troops?
It's based on HoMM 3, not HoMM 4. :P
Are you using the right spell? 1st on the 2nd page, right under your mana ammount.
Looks like generic game' mana potion.
Started a few games, never had this problem.
Sweet. ^_^ Been waiting for this one. :)
It's in the launcher' video options, before actual game. Launcher is where you choose a mod to play.
You, guys, do have issues indeed, but lack of freelancer ain't the one you should worry about...
9 days? Well it's better than 10 days. ^_^
Hey guys,
I was playing a game and found this little bug that almost in no way affects gameplay or mod performance, so I was wondering could you, maybe, put away all of those important things related to core game elements for a moment and fix it instead?
Thanks. ^_^
Right click on the game in the library, pick the bottom option (settings? no idea what it is in english) and it'll be right there as a checkbox. "turn on steam overlay".
I've been doing some "caravan" runs to gain some easy gold and this terrible map lag startet getting more and more inconvenient with time, so I've decided: "Hey, maybe if I turn off steam overlay it will ease up a little bit"...
Yeah... a little bit... turns out, steam was causing ~90% of this lag for me in the first place, now mod runs without any problems.
Good job, Steam, you did it again. >_>
"Most don't read else they'd already have seen my discussion of it earlier."
That's where you're very wrong. Answering people here is a good thing, sure, but within an hour of time those posts will be pushed many pages back. If you want people to see some relevant information it should be available in the article above. It's the same thing as it was with those "10 days". :P
Not everybody will see it even there, of course, but it'll prevent quite a few repeating questions. ^_^
They're elves though, that's how they supposed to look. :P
And it's not "gay", it's fabulous. ^_^
You're pretty new to this whole interwebs thing, eh? ^_^
Hey, guys, anybody knows will the "Small dudes can't climb ladders/walls" thing be fixed? Looked around here, but couldn't find anything about it.
Well, alpha is alpha ^_^ I'm sure all this will be fixed.
By testing a little bit, I can assume, that this problem have something to do with wielded weapon. If order gnomes to drop it, they most likely will use bandages, not everytime though (about 7/10 times it works).
