Oya Manda! I am a big fan of all things Mando'ade. My hobbies include reading (Star Wars, Halo, Star of the Guardians, Green Rider and some manga), riding my bike, Haidong Gumdo (Korean Sword martial art, currently 2nd Degree Black belt) and playing video games and mods of said games. Favorite completed mod (two-way tie) -- Star Trek Armada III for Sins of a Solar Empire; Rise of the Mandalorians for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. Gameplay is moderately good, although Petro could have very easily put in other droid units for the Consortium and actually RESEARCHED Mandalorians before making them look like wimps.
Story makes sense. Not the best story, but it makes the game easier to live with.
AI can be challenging at times, so it's not a guaranteed win every time.
The worst things are that Petro CLEARLY didn't think the whole corruption mechanic through, and they only have one campaign. It is VERY annoying anytime you play GC against Zann to have most of your heroes going around removing corruption for 3/4 of the game. Also, leaving out Imperial and Rebel campaigns was a big blunder. It would have been so very simple to create new campaigns using the new units, or even simply updating the originals. If they had included more than one campaign, this would be worthy of a 9.
The best thing about this game is that it is EXTREMELY easy to mod. You just need to go through the files a few times to get used to the syntax and then change to your heart's content. MUCH easier than, say, SW Battlefront I & II
One of the BEST games for Star Wars! I just HATED the way that ANY game made about Star Wars ALWAYS had JEDI as the main character.
One of the best mods I have ever played. Not only does it add new units and planets, but independant factions as well: the Yevetha, for one. Also in the mod, all of the Galactic Conquests take place AFTER the events in the movies, which I think LucasArts has done WAY to much about. All in all, great work has been done to make this mod, and yet they aren't finished yet!
