To what, specifically? What are the most stable settings to run EaW at?

Great mod, fellas!! I am having one problem, though. After the second emission of my game, all of the friendly npcs in the world are clumped together in tight groups, and they won't move. Also, all the traders have disappeared. How might I correct this, if I can at all?
Thanks in advance!

I just installed Crossfire, and I'm not getting any audio during the game.. The only sounds I can hear are the ship guns shooting--all of the dialogue, music, and ambiance is gone. Any suggestions, perhaps?

I just had the biggest LOTR-gasm. Good god, I'm excited for this one! Keep up the good work!

Okay, so it turns out I had FLMM installed incorrectly. Now, however, I'm getting some weird graphical problems. On most planets and stations, textures will be missing, and all I can see is black where backgrounds are supposed to be. Any reason for this, perhaps?
Thanks in advance!

So every time I try and run this game, it crashes once I try and begin a new game? is there just something stupid I'm missing, or will this mod just not work?
I did a totally fresh installation of Freelancer and I'm using FLMM 1.31

It's a Page fault in non-page area BSOD. Thanks for such a speedy reply, by the way!

Ahhhh!!!! I'm having problems with this mod!! Every time I try and start a new game or load a save I get a BSOD! Is this a known problem? If so, are there any fixes for it?

Alrighty, well I think I've figured out what's wrong, but I'm not entirely sure how to fix it. The Crossfire exe is telling me I need permission from an administrator to copy the file. However, I'm the administrator on my computer, and even when I changed ownership of the file to my user, it still says I need permission, and I've got absolutely no idea how to fix this. I have UAC off, if that's helpful at all.
Any idea, or should I take this to microsoft support?

okay, so I've just downloaded this, and, for the life of me, I just can't get it to work! I'm getting the Error: SHCopyFile failed ('C:\Program Files (x86)\Freelancer Mod Manager\mods\Crossfire1.81\EXE\Freelancer.exe' to 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe'). I've read through a bunch of the comments here, and I still can't get it to work! I've got all the administrator rights on my computer, I have done a totally clean install, ran a registry cleaner before installing, but nothing seems to be working! Any thoughts? I'm running Windows 7 64-bit.
